    Rhonda Dasher informed me that the OMK antennas will not be deployed in
    the new location yet this year.  The site is tentatively scheduled to be
    activated early in 2009.  I've updated the OMK record in the
    obs_site_dates table to reflect the site's current status.

    Per Rhonda's previous message, I changed the current status of OMK from
    "active" to "suspended", effective August 13.  However, there are no
    transceiver status messages in any OMK data files after 12:30PM on July
    30; this suggests that the MiniMon software received no data input for two
    weeks prior to the published date of interruption.

    The Omak Creek PIT tag reader is currently being upgraded and relocated to
    help resolve noise issues and inundation that occurs when the Okanogan
    backs up in the spring. The reader was unplugged around August 13th and we
    are anticipating a restart date of November 30, 2008. If plans change I will
    update with a revised activation date.
