    The prototype pile dike PIT-tag detection site (PD7) removed in late
    2011 was reinstalled on 21 March, 2012  at river kilometer 70 in the
    Columbia River Estuary.  The site consists of four PIT-tag coils (ea.1.2
    m wide × 3.0 m deep) fixed to the downstream side of a pile bundle
    located at the offshore terminus of the pile dike structure, forming a
    4-coil (coils A1, A2, A3, A4) antenna array (3.6 m wide × 6.4 m deep).
    We intend to leave the system in place until late 2012 to detect both
    adult and juvenile migrants.
