EVENT LOG FOR SITE PRA Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What -------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 10/19/2004 10:59 acarson@ All coils/xcvrs tuned and tested. Both pcs updated with firewall/antivirus software and completed a full system scan w/ no problems found. Changed Minimon on both pc's to create a file every 6hrs from every 3hrs and synchronized pc clocks. 10/19/2004 10:53 acarson@ 03:LowExcCurrent: The current alarm for coil 03 was adjusted to 3500mA from 4000mA because it was set to close to normal operating current levels of 4100mA. Antenna was tuned and tested on site. 07/13/2004 18:35 acarson@ 01:BadExcFreq,01:BadOscFreq,01:LowExcCurrent,02:LowExcCurrent,03:Overrun,0 5:LowExcCurrent,08:TestTagFailure: Most alarms caused during site visit on 7/09/04. Coils 03, 01, and 08 will be "flashed" and calibrated during next site visit. GCPUD personnel have been contacted to determine if they had a power outage to cause the missing file RIA04192.C on both PC's. No data to fill gap at this time. 07/09/2004 17:57 acarson@ Updated virus protection and performed system scan on all PC's. Checked communications with all xcvrs. System check out OK. 07/09/2004 17:36 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure,03:Overrun: Tuned all coils and adjusted the timer tag for coil 01. Coil 01 was reading the timer tag, according to the display, but the buzzer would not sound and the data was not sent. After the transceiver was reset the timer tag began to work properly. 07/02/2004 10:25 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure: The FDXB levels do not increase for the last alarm. I manually sent a test tag and it works fine. Also notice while turning on the test tag that the excessive noise alarms began to report, which indicates something, wrong with the transceiver. More later. 07/02/2004 09:48 acarson@ 03:Overrun: Unknown reason for alarm. Fish were detected 3 min before and 3 min after the last alarm. 06/28/2004 12:35 Darren This is a test message sent from the ‘legacy’ web interface. It should be deposited in the top-level directory of the PRA Events forum. 06/09/2004 14:59 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure: Noise reports do not show excessive noise levels during the test tag failure. The FDXB levels increased just after firing. No fish detected during the same time frame. I will continue to monitor the transceiver. 05/30/2004 11:57 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure: FDXB level at 58% when test tag failed. Fish read on coil soon after failure. ~01-3 05/25/04 18:19:12 INFO Average: 6 % ~01-3 05/25/04 18:19:12 INFO Peak: 20 % ~01-3 05/25/04 18:19:12 INFO FDXB Peak: 21 % | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 | 03 05/25/04 18:21:02 3D9.1BF142B41A XX 01 05/24/2004 08:29 acarson@ 02:ExcessiveNoise: Unknown noise event. I will contact GCPUD about the noise. More later........ 05/24/2004 08:23 acarson@ 01:ExcessiveNoise: Noise alarms unknown at this time. I will contact GCPUD about the noise. More later...... 05/17/2004 16:39 DAve On 5/14/04, I submitted a patch file, PRA03227.ALL, covering the interval from midnight on August 15 through 18:38 on August 20, 2003. These data were provided by Anthony Carson (BioMark). This single file was created from 124 original data files, generated while the PRA-PC1 computer was infected with a virus that manifest itself in frequent reboots. All outstanding and available PRA data for 2003 have now been processed and incorporated into the PTAGIS database. 05/12/2004 14:26 Brett_Tu I found the missing data file PRA04124.G1 in the archives of PC1. I uploaded it to ptagis to fill in the 3 hour data gap. Brett Turley Biomark, Inc (208) 275-0011 05/11/2004 21:39 acarson@ PCA'd into PC2 to retrieve missing data file PRA04124.G1 and PCAnywhere locked up. Biomark Personnel will be on site Thursday the 13th (not the 11th) to reboot PC2. More later...... 05/11/2004 21:34 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure: Test Tag failure seems to be from tagged fish in the field while TT fired. A lot of detection around time of failure. 04/22/2004 10:21 ptagdev@ 08:Overrun: This is a test of the TASS PostMessasgeOnly functionality. Doug Clough 04/22/2004 09:54 ptagdev@ 08:Overrun: This is a test of the TASS PostMessageOnly functionality. Doug Clough 04/13/2004 09:57 Brett_T. At WEA, I changed the diagnostic report delay from 1 hour to 3 hours and the noise report delay from 1 minute to 10 minutes. At PRA, I changed the diagnostic report delay from 1 hour to 3 hours and the noise report delay from 1 minute to 5 minutes. Brett Turley Biomark, Inc. (208) 275-0011 04/12/2004 08:39 Dave Using files provided by Anthony Carson (via Steve Anglea) I backfilled a 17-day hole with PRA04076.ALL. This file contains records from the original 138 contiguous files from midnight on March 16 (PRA04076.A) through midnight on April 1 (PRA04092.H). The original data files are contained in PRA-04-data2.zip, in the PRA/2004 directory on the PTAGIS file server. 04/07/2004 08:53 acarson@ 01:TestTagFailure: I didn't see anything wrong with coil 01 during the TT failure. I will check out the transceiver during next site visit. 04/05/2004 12:29 acarson@ 04/05/04 11:18 PC1 was placed in auto upload every 3hrs. Files PRA04076.A - PRA04092.H1 have been sent to Dave M. for processing (138 files). Files PRA04093.A1 - PRA04096.C1 were marked for upload and sent to PTAGIS. 03/26/2004 09:21 acarson@ The following are dewatered and rewatered dates for both ladders during the 2003/2004 maintenace period. Left Ladder: Dewatered - 11/26/03 at 08:30:00 Rewatered - 02/10/04 at 08:00:00 Right Ladder: Dewatered - 02/12/04 at 11:05:00 Rewatered - 03/03/04 at 08:00:00. 02/03/2004 11:01 Dave As requested by Anthony Carson, I enabled site-checking (for biomark_sitemaint only) at PRA, WEA, and RIA. 02/02/2004 18:23 acarson@ Operations & Status Reports show the last data collected from PRA was 1/29/04 12:00. Tried to PCA into both pc's but timeout instead. I will contact GCPUD personnel to determine if both pc's are interrogating. 01/08/2004 16:04 acarson@ 04:LowExcCurrent,04:Overrun: The left ladder has been dewatered and all coils 01 - 04 where placed in stdby. Power must have been lost placing coils in scan mode. All coils 01-04 are now in stdby while the ladder is down 01/05/2004 14:57 Anthony_ The following missing files have been transmitted to PTAGIS for processing: PRA03320.A2 - PRA03321.C2 (11 FILES) PRA03319.B2 - PRA03319.F29 (5 FILES) PRA03317.B2 - PRA03317.D29 (3 FILES) PRA03316.A2 - PRA03316.F29 (6 FILES) PRA03100.D29 (1 FILE) The remaining data gap from PRA03226.BC - PRA03232.T was caused when the computer platform was infected with the worm virus 03. This caused both PC's to re-boot about every 15 min. Due to the large number of files created each day PC1 was set to manually upload only until the problem was fixed. Instead of submitting all the missing files and the buffer downloads, all data was filtered for only fish detections. A Excel file containing only the fish detected during the time of the data gap was sent to Dave Marvin for processing (74 tags total). 01/01/2004 12:02 Dave Initialized new event log for 2004. 2003 event log has been archived. ####End of Event Log for PRA###
