    I updated the firewall software on the data computers and downloaded
    windows
    updates. Also, I put transceivers 01, 02, 03 and 04 in standby while the
    ladder is dewatered.

    The left ladder will be dewatered on Monday November 30 for winter
    maintenance. Fish passage will be restricted to the right ladder.

    The schedule for right ladder de-watering has not been determined yet.

    OLAFT ceased operations for the year on October 15. It will be down until
    next spring/summer.

    The clock on PRA-PC1 was inadvertently set back one month on 9/16/09.  The
    error was not discovered and corrected until 9/25.  During that interval
    the data files previously submitted from PC1 between August 16-26 were
    overwritten (and resubmitted to PTAGIS) with data actually collected one
    month later.  After the error was discovered, data submission was
    suspended on PRA-PC1, all detection data from PRA between August 16-26
    were removed from the PTAGIS database, the obs_site summary table was
    refreshed, and the correct data from the August 16-26 and September 16-25
    intervals were resubmitted from PRA-PC2.  As of this posting, the complete
    and correct PRA data set, through 9/25/09 06:00, has been posted to and
    processed by PTAGIS.

    There is a lot of noise on coil 05. I retuned the reader and reduced the
    noise. I set all transceivers except 05 to send a noise report every 10
    minutes, and set transceiver 05 to send a noise report every minute.

    OLAFT is still being reconstructed. They hope to have it operational by
    June 1. They redesigned some of the flumes to better serve their trapping
    needs and to stop water from pooling up into the antennas. I left the
    transceiver off until they are done.

    The right fish ladder at PRA was dewatered for maintenance purposes on
    1/27/09. It will be watered up again at the end of February.

    07:HighTemp,07:LowExcCurrent,08:HighTemp:         The high temperature
    alarms were caused by someone turning on and leaving a space heater in the
    trailer where  transceivers 07 and 08 are mounted. I would guess that it
    was 100 degrees or more inside the trailer. I pulled the plug on the
    heater and aired out the trailer.
