    July 10th, 1997.

    PRJ-1, SEPARATOR: Annunciator warnings acknowledged
    Found 50 & 45 percent efficiency on coils CC & C8
    for Apr. 24.

    Mlink balled up and failed on upload Sunday morning, 5/25/97. The poll.sites
    process ran away. In order to kill it I had to mv /usr/local/bin/mlink
    to another name. Shut off poll.sites from Sunday until Tuesday when I
    reset the modem and move mlink back to it's original name.

    Repaired connection at signal return cable for coil CA on 5/16/97. Fish
    seen this day were before repair was made.

    Found the main computer locked up for no apparent reason. rebooted pc to fix
    the problem. Called Jen and uploaded files from the backup computer. Coil C8
    indicated no current but read tags. Stick tested the seperator, results belo
    Coil c8 read 13 of 20 tags
         ca 20 of 20
         cc 20 of 20
         ce 20 of 20.
    Will revisit site today to resolve coil C8.

    Coil CC was dead on 5/5/97 due to a broken wire to the reader card. Ran
    sticks on the separator monitor with these results:
    Coil C8 read 10 for 10.
         CA read 10 for 10.
         CC read 10 for 10.
         CE read 10 for 10.

    Visited for a general maint. check. Replaced loop tuner for coil
    CA. Ran sticks on separator monitor with these results:
          Coil C8 read 20 out of 20 sticks.
               CA read 20 out of 20.
               CC read 20 out of 20.
               CE read 20 out of 20.

    Site electronics remodel was completed on 3/14/97 with all monitors
    functioning by 4:10pm.

    Problem with phone communication from Gladstone to Prosser. Gladstone
    phone calls Prosser. Prosser modem picks up. Gladstone phone continues
    to ring. This symptom is reproducable. Contacted United Telephone NW.
    Spoke with Cheryl. Cheryl said she would submit a work order to have
    the line checked up to the de-mark. She said this would happen by
    13:30 on Saturday, March 15, 1997. (Prosser modem not only picks up,
    but attempts to negotiate a connection).
