Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 12/18/2000 09:20 scott_li The data collection platform renovation was completed on friday Dec. 15th. Interrogation files are being generated every three hrs and submitted every 6 hrs. No word on when the facility will water up due to low water levels and freezing conditions in the Yakima river.... 12/14/2000 11:22 Carter_S From: "Mark Johnston" Wed 2:37 PM Subject: Re: Sampling Schedule at Prosser Diversion To: Dave Marvin Dave, We will are planning to start chandler up as soon as we get enough water in the canal hopefully tomorrow 12/14/00. We will start tagging fish at Roza on Friday the 12/15/00. Chnadler should be in operation from now until mid july 2001. Thanks Mark 12/12/2000 09:17 Dave Backfilled missing data files PRJ00031.003-004 and PRJ00058.001-002 for January 31 and February 27, respectively. New PRJ00031 files appear to contain valid tag codes; PRJ00058 files contain only timer tag data. 12/12/2000 08:01 Darren_C As of 12/11/2000 the platform at prosser has been removed the files needed have been copied and sent to Dave M. Data collection will resume when the New platform is ready to be installed. 10/17/2000 08:40 Darren_C The Nameplates for the Monitors, Transceiver Enclosures w/Coil I.D.'s have been put in place. 08/21/2000 14:41 scott_li General maintenance check found no problems. All tags were successfully diverted on the separator at JDJ. Downloaded Temperature data from the Hobo data logger. Re-launched logger for another 30 day cycle. 08/19/2000 09:44 scottl Site did not upload at scheduled interval. Viewed logging data via remote access. Log indicated that the remote access server(RASS) did not respond. Computer is collecting data, tried to manually send data... Will monitor site. 08/16/2000 12:20 Don_Warf Found both data collection computers in Windows "safe mode" start-up waiting for operator input. BOR electricians were at the site performing yearly electrical maintenance and stated that they had been turning power off and on at the facility. Rebooted both PCs and found no problems. No data has been lost since the site is currently down. No word yet as to when it will be back in operation. 08/10/2000 09:30 Dave I re-initialized this log as the original was corrupted and/or lost sometime prior to June 2. 08/08/2000 Darren Uploaded missing data files PRJ00091.003, 152.104, and 173.102-104. Also edited PRJ00101.011 to append a file CLOSE tag. We still need to review and possible edit and re-submit PRJ data files generated by Multimon 6.x subsequent to 2/28/00. 07/28/2000 Darren On July 26 there was a 59 minute gap between file 206.E and 206.G. After talking with John Tenney about it I looked at the file and found that there must have been some kind of power outage at the site. The timer tags were separated by minutes and now they are all firing at the same time. I will try and verify this and report my findings. 06/23/2000 Darren Changed the file submission parameter in MiniMon to send files 3 times per day. New file creation setting is also set to 3 times per day. 06/21/2000 Darren MiniMon, ver 1.0.70 interrogation software was loaded on the primary data collection computer today at approx. 10:30 pst. Testing of the upload process began ~ 1045 and in all accounts was successful. This in-situ test is an extension of the on-going testing and evaluation period. The backup computer continues run the Multimon/Mailer configuration. 06/12/2000 Darren A General Maintenance Check was performed. All Transceivers were checked for Noise and Current. Test sticks were thrown on the separator coils. The efficiency was 100%. 06/07/2000 Darren A General Maintenance Check was performed yesterday. All transceivers were checked for current and noise. 06/02/2000 Darren The Status report Delay has been changed on the sample coils (51,52) to 239 minutes. The separator is still at 240 minutes. 06/02/2000 Darren A General Maintenance Check was performed. All transceivers were checked for noise and current. 05/23/2000 Darren Restarted Mailer to send files. Mailer screen was up with nothing in the fields. 05/22/2000 Darren PC1 stopped sending files shortly after 1200 am on the 20th. Laplinked into pc2 Sunday to verify data collection on the backup . Backup computer working ok. Will visit site may 22nd to correct problem with pc1. 05/02/2000 Darren A3:TestTagFailure: Test tag failure noted. 04/28/2000 Darren The hardware files for PC1 and 2 was rebuilt for full compatibility with Multimon 7.01. This fixes the rocketport initialization problem of not recognizing all R.P channels. 04/28/2000 Darren After a general site maintenance check the efficiency on the separator coils went down. After checking the transceivers we discovered that the water flow through the monitor was inadequate. There were a small number of fish holding up at the mouth of the monitor. We had the site technicians turn up the flow and the efficiencies have returned to normal. 04/26/2000 Darren A3:TestTagFailure: Problem occurred during psmfc general maintenance check. 04/24/2000 Darren A1:TestTagFailure: $A1 MESSAGE: Single-shot test with Test Tag. 00/04/24 19:44:36 $A1 MESSAGE: Test aborted due to system activity. 00/04/24 19:44:36 $A1 MESSAGE: Single-shot test with Test Tag. 00/04/24 21:44:36 |00 A1 00/04/24 21:44:36 3D9.0EEEEEE5B6 NOTFound| 25807 Test tag did fire as we can see. The test tag failed probably do to system activity. 04/21/2000 Darren Prjpc1 and 2 was reconfigured to send mail via Oneworld telecom internet service rather than direct dial-up to Gladstone. This should improve reliability and consistantancy in sending of mail. PC2 was reformatted and completely rebuilt due to corrupted system registries. Apparently, some Mailer .ocx files were not removed from the system registry during a previous uninstall and hindered the reinstall therefore necessitating the rebuild. 04/16/2000 Darren I laplinked into PC1 on Saturday morning and found that there was a "run-time" error. I cleared the error and now PC1 is sending files. 04/05/2000 Darren All phone lines to the facility have been cut by nearby construction. I also found PC2 down as if it was shut off. PC1 has been collecting data with all files intact. No word yet as to when the phone lines would be repaired. 03/09/2000 Darren Loaded pc1 with Multimon ver 7.0 dated March 3, 2000. This version is the only one of three that I could get ot work that had all functionality required. This version fixes the Leap year bug and also works with the ISA/PCI rocketports. Will travel to Prosser 3/10/00 in the AM to revise the software on pc2. 03/08/2000 Darren Site has been watered down since yesterday. PSMFC was not contacted. No one at the site knows when the site will water back up. Have left a message with Mark Johnstone. 03/03/2000 Darren On Wed march 1, 00 all lithium batteries were replaced. All transceivers were reset. 02/16/2000 Darren Modifications were made to all transceivers to eliminate sync problems between transceivers. These modifications were made by Destron Fearing at the site on 2/15/00. 02/11/2000 Darren Ran stick test at facility today as part of the general maintenance schedule. Stick test results: Separator monitor, Coil A1,A2,A3 read 120 of 120 stick tags. Coil 51,52 read 100 of 100 stick tags. Checked tune and ambient noise levels on transceivers. No problems found. ####End of Event Log for PRJ###
