Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 12/26/2002 16:27 Darren_C Troy, Alan, and myself traveled to site to sticktest monitors. We arrived at 11:30 and found that the facility had just started receiving water and the on site personnel were in the process of setting flow rates and cleaning flumes and tanks. We did not get to throw any sticks but we did verify the tuning with the water in the flumes and cleared all the buffers in the transceivers. We will try to stick test the facility next week after things have stabilized. 12/23/2002 16:47 Darren_C The site was visited to day to setup the data collection platform and transceivers for this years outmigration. The facility did not have any water flowing through it but the transceivers were tuned. We will be back on 12-26-02 for testing. The Data collection platform was officially deemed to be in production at 14:16 p.m. on 12-23-02. 12/20/2002 13:00 Darren_C I sppoke with Mark Johnstone today and found out that they were watering up the Chandler canal on 12-20-02 and the canl would be full by 12-23-02. They will start diverting fish into the canl on 12-26-02. PTOC personnel will be on site before 12-26-02 to test the facility and get the Data collection platform ready for the upcoming out migration year (2003). 08/01/2002 10:30 Dave Since data collection has terminated for the season, I disabled the file upload check option in etc/sites. 08/01/2002 08:39 Don_Warf Mark Johnstone called yesterday to report that PRJ was watered down for the season. Mark estimates that the site will water back up in late Nov. or early Dec. He will call giving us prior notice. 06/22/2002 11:21 scottl_l PCA'd to PC1 and manually initiated files transfer. Will monitor to ensure that the data is sent 05/06/2002 11:13 Don_Warf Set the file submission frequency to upload 4 times per day. Checked and set clocks. Set About Time to run in the system tray at the Minimon sites. 05/05/2002 11:35 Dave Retrieved and queued outstanding file PRJ02123.F. 05/03/2002 09:44 Don_Warf Set PC1 and PC2 to create 4 files per day. This was done at 8:15 PST. 04/24/2002 09:43 darren@p A1:TestTagFailure,A2:TestTagFailure: It appears that the transceivers are "noisy" from what I can't tell. This site has a history of adjust the flush water after the separator monitor to a very low level this allows the fish to hover around the corner and then swim back up into the monitor. This will need to be checked on a site visit. 04/11/2002 13:12 Don_Warf PCanywhered in to find out why no files were sent. Found no problems. I was successful in manually sending files. 04/08/2002 12:46 Don_Warf Found PC1 with Minimon and the mouse locked up with no error messages on-screen. Rebooted PC1. PC2 was collecting data during the entire outage on PC1. 04/07/2002 11:11 Darren_C I was able to PCA into PC2 and see that it is collecting Data. I could not get into PC1 via the modem. This will need to looked at on monday. I will PCA into PC2 and send the files needed for gladstone. 02/18/2002 10:11 darren@p 52:LowExcCurrent: I don't know what to think of this failure. The report does not show anyproblems with the transceiver in the status dump and the timer tag is firing correctly. I will keep watch for this failure again. 02/06/2002 06:53 darren@p A2:TestTagFailure: Tag was replaced at 12:26 and has been firing ever since. 02/04/2002 15:23 Carter_S The Timer Tag for coil A2 at PRJ has been changed to 3D9.0EEEEEE674 in the test_tags table in ptagis3. 02/04/2002 15:17 Darren_C The test tag on coil A2 has been replaced. The timer tag code is 3D9.0EEEEEE674. We will investigate the failure. 02/04/2002 08:56 Darren_C I found out when the timer tag failed. I do not see any indication that it was due to outside forces. The timer tag may be bad, we have already replaced the timer tag on coil A3.~A2-3 01/31/02 22:22:09 ALARM MESSAGE: Single-shot test with Test Tag. | 03 01/31/02 22:22:09 3D9.0EEEEEE1A1 XX A2 ~A2-3 01/31/02 22:22:10 ALARM MESSAGE: Test Tag Found. ~A2-3 01/31/02 23:22:09 ALARM MESSAGE: Single-shot test with Test Tag. ~A2-3 01/31/02 23:22:10 ALARM PROBLEM: Test Tag Failed 02/04/2002 08:47 darren@p A2:TestTagFailure: This issue will be taken care of today Mon 1-4-02. I will investigate to find out hwen exactly the timer tag failed. 02/02/2002 21:29 darren@p A2:TestTagFailure: We will investigate this failure on Monday 2-4-02. It appears that this has been going on for about two days. We have already replaced a timer tag that failed during the off season. I feel that the tag probably fell off and needs to repositioned. 01/29/2002 06:30 Don_Warf Closed current file at 6:25 am and restarted PC1 to see if this will restart the auto upload process. 01/28/2002 09:57 Darren_C I was able to PCA into PC1 and manually send files. I could not see any immediate reason for the files not to be sent. We will monitor for future problems. 01/25/2002 10:30 Scott_Li PCA'd into the site and manually intiated file transfer which was successful. Shut Down Minimon and restarted to see if this would help the auto-upload process be more consistent. If problem continues, will travel to the site or remotely retrieve log files to try and diagnose the problem. 01/24/2002 09:26 Dave Hadn't received PRJ files for 24 hrs. PCA'd into PC1 and successfully initiated file upload for PRJ02023.C - PRJ02024.B. Did not see any problems with the Minimon data. Noted that AboutTime is minimized on the toolbar, and is configured to update twice a day. Didn't modify any settings, and re-minimized the app. 01/09/2002 08:29 Darren_C When the site was commissioned the timer tag on coil A3 had failed and was replaced.
