Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 12/31/2003 10:16 Alan Sucessfully resent RCX03364.A through .D to fill a gap created when the server wouldn't accept them yesterday. 12/31/2003 10:03 Alan Files RCX03364.A through .D need to be submitted. We are unable to PCA into the site. I spoke with the landowner and verified that the platform is still collecting data. PTOC will send the files at the next available oportunity. 12/24/2003 10:08 Darren The last update was not correct. I uploaded files RCX03357.A to RCX03358.B. 12/24/2003 10:03 Darren Files RCX03357.A and .B were manually submitted. This site had not loaded since Tuesday morning. 11/18/2003 15:00 Scott_Li PCA'd to the sites and verified that the PTTP loader was sucessfull in transfering files during the last upload interval. No problems to report. 11/18/2003 09:11 Scott_Li PCA's into each of the sites and manually pushed files to PTAGIS. The Minimon application was stopped then restarted in order to syncronize the PTTP loader and close the current files being built. This manual process will continue up until the problems with the firewall in Gladstone are corrected. 11/17/2003 15:11 Jezorek Thurday 11/13/03, Brad Peterson and Bruce Jonasson were at RCX to troubleshoot the MUX. Data collection was suspended from 0915 hrs to 1745 hrs. Ian Jezorek 11/17/2003 15:10 Jezorek Wednesday 11/12/03, Brad Peterson, Bruce Jonasson, and Ian Jezorek were at the site to troubleshoot the MUX, trying to improve read range. Data collection was suspended from 1020 hrs to 1715 hrs. Ian Jezorek 11/13/2003 16:27 Scott_Li PCA'd into site computer and manually pushed cued up interrogation files. Verified that the files are sitting in the interrogation/hold dir. 11/05/2003 16:09 Scott_Li Update.. I was successful in PCA'ing into the RCX platform... I manually initiated the transfer process and the files in the cue were successfully submitted.. 11/05/2003 15:43 Scott_Li This site has not submitted any data files since last night.. Will troubleshoot the problem in the AM. PTOC will be in the area on Friday of this week so if we need to swing into the site we can... 11/05/2003 10:01 Scott_Li RCX interrogation platform was converted from the Multimon to Minimon Ver. 1.4.1 on Nov. 4th ,03 at ~ 1100 hrs pst. Several test uploads to PTAGIS were performed with out failure. The primary interrogation settings are as follows: # of files created per day: 8 # of uploads per day: 2 Reader Id set to : AA Coil sequence: 01,02,03,04,05,06 Syncronize on the hr: Yes The system clock was corrected to reflect the Atomic time. As per a converstation with Dave , It may be the case that we rework the agreement with the landowner in order to increase the # of times per day that the platform uploads data files, so that our internal error checking process are effective. For the time being, PTOC will be monitoring the upload process for this site. 11/04/2003 17:37 Dave The first data for RCX configuration #120 were received today, beginning with RCX03308.C, which was opened at 13:09 on 11/4/03. 10/31/2003 13:02 Carter_S The site configuration for RCX is changed from four to six coils: RCX - Rattlesnake Creek Flat Plates --------------------------------------------------------------------- - Current Configuration -> Seq Nbr: 120 Main? I did not activate site checking for RCX. 10/31/2003 11:26 Scott_Li Per Ed N. the antenna installation is for scheduled for Monday Nov.3rd. Also, Steve Stampfli is having problems with the phone jacks for the data line inside the house. Steve indicated that there is dial tone at the demark. PTOC will repair this on Monday also... 10/30/2003 12:12 Scott_Li Per Ian J., Ed Nunnallee and Bruce Jonasson will be at RCX tomorrow Fri. Oct. 31st to upgrade the site from a 4 antenna system to a 6 antenna system. PTOC will be at the site at that time to upgrade the software from Multimon to Minimon Ver. 1.4.1. At that time , the site will be considered to be in production mode, barring any unforseen problems. PTOC will corrdinate the Site_Configuration revision with Carter... Will Carter be available tomorrow to assist in this?? Scott 10/23/2003 10:45 Scott_Li Per Ed Nunnallee, Destron is sending him a new redesigned reciever pcb for the MUX unit to try and improve the sensitivity of the system. He expects to recieve the parts on Friday but this is tentative. Ed expects to be installing the new pcb along with adding the 2 relay's to the MUX pcb for the 2 additional antennas early next week. PTOC is scheduled to convert the interrogation platform software from Multimon to Minimon Ver. 1.4.1 on Wednesday ,Oct. 29. This is all we know as of now, will post new schedules and events as they become available... Any objections from the group in converting this site from Experiemental to Production? The site config table will need to be revised at the appropriate time to reflect the addition of the 2 new antennas for a total of 6. 10/17/2003 14:24 Carter_S Added new site configuration for RCX: RCX - Rattlesnake Creek Flat Plates --------------------------------------------------------------------- - Current Configuration -> Seq Nbr: 110 Main? Y, Exit_Y_N? Y, Sort_Str: 4 (Coil,Controller): (04,04) 10/17/2003 11:48 Scott_Li Mux system update The transition from a 2 antenna system to the 4 antenna MUX system began on May 12,03. The MUX system went into production on May 15,03 , best recolection was sometime in the mid-afternoon. 2 new antennas were added to the stream bed on Oct. 14th but due to technical difficulties with the MUX pcb, they were not brought online that day. Per Ed Nunnallee, he will be recieving the relay's for the MUX pcb sometime mid to late next week, and install on Thursday. Oct. 23rd or Friday 24th. The antennas will be reconfigured on the MUX to reflect the standard Up-Stream looking Down-Stream, Left to Right rule for the 6 antennas. PTOC will be at the site to accompany Ed and possably Ian to do the Multimon/Minimon transistion on the 24th or 25th Oct. 09/10/2003 08:53 scott_li The existng computer platform and associated cabling that NMFS installed, was replaced yesterday by PTOC with a more robust , high performance PC. Established communications to the phone line in the land owners house via wireless radio modem and successfully was able to access the internet and PTAGIS. The auto upload process was not involked due to incompatabilities between the MUX reader and the interrogation software. The current interrogation software is Multimon and the data for the time being will be manually retrieved by USFWS. Below is a summary posted by John T. A quick status of RCX: Scott attempted to install the 'one-off' MiniMon with the latest rev of the Multiplexor reader at RCX. MiniMon could not translate either versions of the firmware. MultiMon is however capturing the data although the format is incorrect and PTAGIS will not process the data correctly. It was decided to let MultiMon run and store the data files on the local PC until I can make the modifications to MiniMon to support the production multiplexor that Brad Peterson is sending to me this week. Dave said he has to massage the previous MultiMon data anyway, so this is not a major problem capturing a few more weeks of MultiMon data. Once the hardware arrives from DA, I will asses the modification to MiniMon and give everyone an estimate of how long it will take. 05/05/2003 16:40 Jezorek RCX int. files RCX03119.001 - RCX03124.001 are comming at ya.
