    As all data collection activities for RCX are complete, and no additional
    data files are expected, I've archived the configuration definitions for
    the site.

    RCX data collection was terminated on 2 June 2007 at 0900.  The site is
    being deactivated for the near term.  Although the beast is now dormant,
    it may awaken with a future infusion of the dollars on which it feeds.

    Many thanks to all who have assisted with developement, operations, and
    maintenance of this site.

    Ian Jezorek with USGS informed me by phone that he will stop by RCX to
    check on the platform at his next opportunity (today or tomorrow).

    RCX is still MIA. Messages to the landowner have not yet been returned.
    PTAGIS Field Operations is continuing to rectify the situation.

    The collection PC at RCX appears to be down. I'm going to the office to
    try to make contact with the landowner. More info as it becomes
    available...

    I was at RCX on 3/30/07 to reconnect antenna 5.   Data collection was
    interrupted from 13:30 to 14:30.

    At about 09:45 on 3/16/07 a breaker tripped at RCX and power was lost to
    the transceiver.  I was at the site on 3/19/07 and restored power.  Data
    collection resumed at 10:14 on 3/19/07.   Though MiniMon files exist for
    this period they contain no data, the site was non-functional.

    Antenna 5 lost power between 0300 and 0400 on 2/25/07.  On 2/27/07, I was
    at the site to try to reconnect it.  The water was too high and swift to
    do so.  Data collection was stopped from 1108 to 1151 hrs.

    Removed the noping statement from BB for this site. BB is now monitoring
    the data collection PC interface.

    Antennas 1 and 5 were redeployed by Ian Jezorek and Kyle Martens on 25
    January 2007.  MiniMon and the modem were started at about 14:50hrs.
    Hopefully, data files will begin to arriving at PTAGIS soon.

    Per Ian's request, I have disabled site-checking at RCX.  I've also
    updated the Obs_Site_Dates and Obs_Site_Interruptions tables to reflect
    the current status of the site.  We'll modify Big Brother's
    'ptagis_remote' page to ignore RCX communications status until notified
    otherwise.

    At about 1900hrs on 12/14/06. antenna 1 at RCX lost power.  It is unkown
    if the antenna was destroyed or the cable was pulled.  At 1440 on 1/3/07,
    I was at the site and shut down power to the transceiver and computer.  
    It is unknown whether or when this site will be back online, we must wait 
    for the water to drop.

    Please disable the file upload failure messages from RCX for the time
    being.
