EVENT LOG FOR SITE RIA Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What -------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 10/19/2004 14:26 acarson@ 08:TestTagFailure: No none reason for the test tag failure. Did notice a DRS was sent same time as timer tag on coil 08. Tested timer tag at xcvr and both pc's with no problems. 09/01/2004 12:29 ptagdev@ 06:BadExcFreq,06:TestTagFailure: To alleviate TASS processing bottleneck caused by large number of BadExcFreq alarms in RIA files, I removed RIA files submitted between 03:59:58 on 31 Aug and 09:59:54 on 1 Sep 2004 from the TASS queue. Doug Clough 08/30/2004 14:52 acarson@ 06:BadExcFreq,06:TestTagFailure: Coil 06 was placed in stdby by CCPUD personnel on 8/30/04 @ 2:41:00 pst. The transceiver/coil will be tested on 9/8/04 during next site visit. More later........ 07/09/2004 17:44 acarson@ 0A:LowExcCurrent: Alarms caused during last site visit. 07/09/2004 14:12 acarson@ The clocks on both PCs were switched back to PST on 7/09/04 13:03:00 and new files (RIA04191.F1&2) were created. Thanks Dave M. for setting me straight. 07/09/2004 13:12 acarson@ After testing the right ladder for noise levels coil 0C was not communicating with both PC1 & PC2 around 7/8/04 12:15:00. The error messages were not detected until late 7/8/04. Both PCs were re-booted on 7/9/04 12:58:00 to fix the problem. Adjusted the clocks on both PCs, which were 1hr behind, from 7/8/04 7:09:00 to 8:04:00. All coils were tuned and xcvrs 09 thru 0C doors were cracked to help with hightemp alarms until a permanent fix is found. Noise levels on all coils at the right ladder continue to follow the exact operation of the Frequency drive motors controlling the cooling fans on turbines 7 & 8. The noise levels are at max during start-up and continue to fall as the motors reach 100% running RPM. Ave noise levels can be as low as 25% but often fluctuate up to 70% while running. While drives are not in operation the Ave noise levels are from 6% - 12% on all coils. More later……… 07/09/2004 12:23 acarson@ 08:ExcessiveNoise,0A:ExcessiveNoise,0C:ExcessiveNoise: Excessive noise levels occurred during site visit. 07/09/2004 12:21 acarson@ 07:BadExcFreq,07:BadOscFreq,07:LowExcCurrent,07:Overrun,07:TestTagFailure, 08:LowExcCurrent,09:HighTemp,09:LowExcCurrent,0A:LowExcCurrent,0B:LowExcCu rrent,0C:BadOscFreq,0C:LowExcCurrent: Alarms occurred during site visit. The xcvrs for coils 07 & 08 were swapped back to the original configuration and the analog board in xcvr 07 was replaced. 07/02/2004 09:38 acarson@ 0A:HighTemp,0B:HighTemp,0C:HighTemp: I will check on the high temp alarms during the next site visit on 7/7/04. 07/02/2004 09:36 acarson@ 07:Overrun,07:TestTagFailure: I had problems originally with this transceiver when it was connected to coil 08. The transceiver was sent to Destron for repair and returned with no problems found. Re-installed the transceiver to coil 08 and continued to have the same problems. To eliminate the antenna being the problem I swapped the transceivers of coils 07 & 08 and know the problem is with 07. I will replace the transceiver with spare during next site visit 07/07/04. 07/02/2004 09:16 acarson@ 09:HighTemp: I will check on the high temp alarms during the next site visit on 7/7/04. 06/28/2004 13:17 Darren This is a test message sent from the ‘legacy’ web interface. It should be deposited in the top-level directory of the RIA Events forum. 06/11/2004 13:56 acarson@ When swapping xcvrs 07 & 08 the coil IDs where also changed to match the original configuration. Communications with both xcvrs was confirmed via Minimon. Thanks Dave. 06/09/2004 14:53 acarson@ 08:TestTagFailure: Alarms caused by Biomark personnel during scheduled site visit. 06/09/2004 14:52 acarson@ 08:BadExcFreq,08:BadOscFreq,08:LowExcCurrent,08:Overrun,09:LowExcCurrent,0 A:BadExcFreq,0A:BadOscFreq,0A:LowExcCurrent,0A:Overrun,0A:TestTagFailure,0 B:LowExcCurrent,0C:LowExcCurrent: All alarms caused during scheduled site visit. Coils 09 - 0C are being monitored for the excessive noise levels and coil 08 transceiver was replaced with the original transceiver that was in for repairs. After replacing original transceiver the problems started to occur again. Transceivers 07 & 08 have been swapped to help determine if the antenna is causing the unit to lock up. 06/09/2004 13:23 acarson@ 0A:ExcessiveNoise: Alarms caused during site visit. Alternate power source being tested to determine excessive noise levels. 05/30/2004 12:28 acarson@ 08:ExcessiveNoise: This transceivers tuning is effected more by the temperature fluctuation than all others transceivers on the middle ladder. This transceiver was sent in for repairs due to the display locking up and excessive noise levels. All problems followed the transceiver when swapping coils. I will continue to monitor this coil for possible leaks and replace this transceiver with one from another coil that is known to work well. 05/24/2004 08:04 acarson@ 08:ExcessiveNoise: Analog board was recently replaced. I will check transceiver on next site visit. 05/18/2004 17:18 acarson@ 08:ExcessiveNoise: Unknown noise event. Noticed the noise report was not set during the transceiver replacement on 5/13/04. I will get CCPUD personnel to turn the noise report on to every 10 minutes via PC2. 05/18/2004 17:08 acarson@ 0A:ExcessiveNoise: Alarms caused by Biomark personnel during scheduled site visit. 05/18/2004 17:07 acarson@ 0A:LowExcCurrent: Alarms caused by Biomark personnel during scheduled site visit. 05/14/2004 08:35 acarson@ 07:ExcessiveNoise: Site visit, tuning and XCVR change on 08, effected 07-- -Brian Beckley 05/14/2004 08:34 acarson@ 08:ExcessiveNoise: Site visit changed out XCVR--Brian Beckley 05/14/2004 08:30 PTOC_Bot Maintenance and Operation site visit for Rock Island.
