EVENT LOG FOR SITE ROZ The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 12/22/2012 12:16 scottl@b 02:TestTagFailure: Noted 12/10/2012 15:17 rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted. 12/10/2012 13:37 Roger In order to reduce the number of alerts to M4, the noise alarm threshold on A1 was raised to 70% and the alarm unique delay on A1 and A2 was set to 3600 seconds. 12/10/2012 13:21 rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted. 12/10/2012 11:04 Roger Performed site GMC on 12/10/2012. The ladder transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. Transceivers A1 and A2 were replaced with 2020 transceivers. The roller gates are currently up. The tuning will need to be changed when the roller gates are returned to normal operational state. The capacitor value at the junction box will most likely need to be lowered. Transceiver A1 currently tuned with no tuning jumpers installed on the main PCB. Transceiver A2 required no jumpers on the main PCB and a jumper removed on the auxillary tuning PCB. The noise level on transceiver A1 is in the mid nineties. The noise level on transceiver A2 is pegged at 100%. This is most likely to to VFD and drum heater noise. Minimon and M4 configuration were updated to reflect the change in transceiver type. M4 services were restarted and Minimon was stopped and started to activate the transceiver change. Minimon was only down for about a second. No fish were seen on M4 during this period. There are no additional problems to report. 12/10/2012 07:48 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These alarms will be investigated later today. 12/07/2012 10:14 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 12/02/2012 09:43 troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These alarms are common to this system due to facility operations. 12/01/2012 07:54 troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These alarms are common for these antennas due to site operations. 11/29/2012 08:04 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These alarms are common to this system and are due to facility operations. 11/28/2012 08:16 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Common alarm for this system due to facility operations. 11/27/2012 07:38 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Common alarm for these two antennas due to operations. 11/26/2012 07:55 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Common alarm for these antennas due to operating conditions. PSMFC will try to confirm with YN personnel. 11/08/2012 16:14 Scott_Li M4 PC2 was upgraded today from ver. 1.4.4 to 1.4.6 11/07/2012 07:43 Darren I was informed today by the site Bio, Mark Johnston, that the ladder was de-watered yesterday around 13:30 for some maintenance and cleaning. He will inform us when the ladder is returned to service. 11/07/2012 07:37 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Alarms noted. 11/07/2012 07:37 darren@b 02:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated during the next site visit. This could be caused by the flow through the ladder. PSMFC will contact site Bio to investigate the flow. 11/05/2012 08:07 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These detection systems are currently out of the water column. 11/02/2012 06:41 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These system are currently out of the water column. 11/01/2012 12:21 Scott_Li PC2 was upgraded to M4 Ver. 1.4.4 , site configs were e-mailed to Nicole 10/31/2012 13:50 Darren PSMFC was on site today (10-31-12) to perform a site GMC. There were no problems with the detection systems in the ladder. The roller gate has been rotated past a point that PSMFC is familiar with so the cables were inspected and appear to have possibly been pinched between the rooler gate and the concrete. The cables will need to be inspected when the roller gate is rolled back into an operating position. The YN bio is not sure why the gate is in this position. The transceivers for the flat plates are running and the antennas are de-tuned due to being out of the water. No issues were discovered during this visit. 10/31/2012 07:18 Alan An apparent power outage occurred on 10-30-2012 from 0921 to 1210 PST. File ROZ12304.D9 was created from a .tmp file found on PC1 and was submitted to PTAGIS. No further data exist on either PC to fill the reamining gap. 10/31/2012 06:33 scottl@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Antennas are out of water and detuned, will not clear TASS until the antennas are again in the proper operating position. 10/31/2012 06:31 Scott_Li Corkey called to let us know the drum that the antennas is on was rotated to the full open position, but rotated in the opposite direction that it normally moves. The issue maybe that the antenna cables may not return properly when the drum is rotated back, cables could become pinched somewhere in the gearing or elsewhere. Corkey suggest that we take a look at this situation and make corrections if necessary. The drum will remain in this position until the week prior to Thanksgiving. 10/30/2012 06:48 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: These detection systems are currently out of the flow of the river. The roller gate is passing water beneath itself. 10/29/2012 07:06 Darren I was informed on Thursday (10-25-12) by Mark Johnston that the ladder had been de-watered since 10-18-12 and was due to water back up on 10-25-12 in the afternoon. The ladder was down due to the pool above being drawn down. 10/29/2012 06:09 Scott_Li Ladder transceivers need tuned, will correct on the next scheduled site visit if not before. 10/28/2012 09:24 troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Common alarm for these antennas 10/27/2012 07:16 troy@bay 02:TestTagFailure,A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 10/25/2012 06:48 darren@b 02:TestTagFailure: Alarm will be investigated during the next site visit. 10/24/2012 10:31 Troy@bay 02:TestTagFailure,A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: The LEC alarms are common to A1 and A2. 02's TTF will be addressed on the next site visit. 10/23/2012 07:02 Troy@bay 02:TestTagFailure,A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: The LEC alarms are not uncommon for these antennas. 02 TTF will be addressed on the next site visit. 10/21/2012 07:23 rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted. 10/21/2012 07:23 rclark@b 02:TestTagFailure: The transceiver is slightly out of tune. The ladder transceivers were chked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detectability. The roller gate antennas (A1,A2) were checked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detctability. No problems were discovered during these checks. The ground rod that was installed by BOR electrician Corkie was chekced during the period when the screens were in operation. The ground was placed upon the shirld of the cable and several locations inside the transceiver but this had no effects on the noise from the VFD's that were in operation. PSMFC will continue to monitor the roller gate antennas for the "analog Comms failures" that are being periodically reported. We believe it si due to the noise spikes of the VFD's. 03/26/2012 07:15 Troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/25/2012 06:45 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/24/2012 06:45 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/23/2012 07:17 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/22/2012 06:51 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/21/2012 06:37 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/20/2012 06:39 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC is aware of these alarms on will investigate during the next site visit. 03/19/2012 10:15 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC is aware of these alarms on will investigate during the next site visit. 03/18/2012 06:53 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC is aware of these alarms on will investigate during the next site visit. 03/17/2012 07:23 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: noted.Clearing TASS. 03/14/2012 07:21 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: All the screens are operating as of Monday. 03/12/2012 06:44 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC will investigate these alarms during the next site visit. 03/09/2012 07:26 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/05/2012 07:38 Rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted. 03/04/2012 08:10 rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/03/2012 07:43 rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted. 03/01/2012 08:43 Rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 02/28/2012 08:59 Rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 02/27/2012 07:12 Rclark@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 02/24/2012 07:36 alan@bay A1:LowExcCurrent,A2:LowExcCurrent: Noted 02/21/2012 07:37 Darren I was informed by Mark Johnston that the roller gate was placed into the "Tuck" position on 2-16-12 at 10:00.
