    Shut down site computers for the year. Ran query  this year's data set and
    no file gaps existed. Turned off file submission checking.

    I uninstalled the antennas, uploaded the last file and shut down the
    transceivers and computers. The last file uploaded was RPJ11112.D1.

    Hatchery personnel seined the remaining fish from the pond on Thursday
    April, 21.

    Site visit on Monday 4/11. Everything was working well. I archived all
    data
    files on backup PC and synced the time on the two PC's. I checked the tune
    and ran test tag diagnostic on all transceivers. I decided not to test
    antennas with the stick tags because fish started actively moving through
    the antennas while I was there. System shutdown has changed from Thursday
    4/21 to Friday 4/22.

    O&M visit on 4/4/11. I checked the tune on all transceivers and tested
    with
    timer tag diagnostic. Everything is working well. Also, I synced the
    computer times and archived the files on the backup PC.

    The date in which the final fish will be pushed out and the pond drained
    is
    4/21.

    Site visit on 3/28/11.Checked tune on all transceivers and tested with
    timer
    tag and stick tags. Archived data on backup PC. Everything looking very
    good. The fish are moving very slowly out of the pond. The hatchery
    manager
    may lower the pond level today or tomorrow to help push the fish out.

    Site visit on Monday 3/21. Everything looked good. I checked the tune on
    all transceivers and checked efficiency with their timer tags. After the
    first night of releases, the fish movement has decreased significantly.

    Per Rapid River's hatchery manager, the volitional release officially
    began
    on Tuesday 3/15 at about 10:00 am PST.

    O&M visit on 3/14/11. Everything looking good and ready for the release. I
    was told the release would be on 3/14. However, the hatchery didn't get
    the
    OK from headquarters. The release could start as early as the afternoon of
    3/15. I will post the release start time as soon as I get the word from
    the
    hatchery.

    There was a four hour power outage at the hatchery yesterday which caused
    a
    5 hour 21 minute data gap. I filled the gap with the RPJ11067.D1.TMP file
    that was in the Minimon data file. There was no additional data on the
    secondary data computer.

    According to hatchery personnel, The volitional release is set to begin on
    March 14.

    I replaced the CPU board on transceiver 02 with a spare. The screen was
    blanked out and the transceiver was emitting a solid beep. It also could
    not
    detect the timer tag. The new CPU board seems to have fixed the problem.
    The
    transceiver now reads tags and seems to be working fine.

    Apparently there was a power outage at Rapid River hatchery on 2/16. The
    computers shut down without closing out file RPJ11047.E1. I added a
    closing
    line to the bottom of the file and uploaded it to fill the 2 hour 29
    minute
    data gap. It looks like the transceivers also lost power for over two
    hours.

    02:TestTagFailure:         Test tag failures acknowledged. I'll check this
    out on my next  site visit.

    The antennas and transceivers were installed today (2/8/11). The
    transceivers were powered up at approximately 2:45 pm PST. Initially,
    everything looks good. The transceivers came into tune immediately and
    there were no comm issues or any other problems. My understanding is that
    fish tagging in the pond will begin on Monday, 2/14. The fish release
    will begin in mid-March. I don't have the exact release day yet. I will
    post it when I find out.

    Turned on File submission checking for this site and engaged  the auto
    upload process. Uploads set to every 3 hrs.

    Reconfigured the data collection platform for the newly installed DSL line
    along with other things. All connectivity was tested and no problems to
    report.
