These files were truncated when the data computers lost power during power outages on 4/28 and 4/29. 05/01/2012 11:54 Brett The site was shut down and uninstalled on 5/1/12 at 10:46 PST. The last file was RPJ12122.D1. I collected two partial files from 4/28 and 4/29 when the system lost power. I will give them a closing timestamp and submit them to PTAGIS. 04/30/2012 13:45 Brett Hatchery personnel will seine out any remaining fish and drain the pond tomorrow (5/1/12). I will shut the system down and uninstall the antennas tomorrow as well. Also, there were two power outages on Saturday night that caused some data gaps. One gap is two hours and 8 minutes long and the other is 42 minutes long. I will see if I can retrieve any missing data from the data computers and/or transceiver buffers. 04/27/2012 10:17 Brett Due to heavy rains, the pond will not be drained today as scheduled. The water is too high and turbid, so I will uninstall the system next week when the hatchery is able to flush out the remaining fish and drain the pond. 04/25/2012 07:36 Brett Site visit on 4/23. Everything working well. I did not use the stick tags to test the antennas because fish were actively exiting the pond while I was there and I didn't want to disturb them. Remaining fish are scheduled to be flushed out on Friday 4/27. 04/19/2012 06:50 Brett Site visit on 4/16/12. Everything is working well. The pond is scheduled to be emptied on 4/27/12. Any remaining fish will be forced out. 04/13/2012 06:54 Brett Site visit on 4/9/12. Tested all xcvrs and checked computers. Everything looked good. I downloaded all xcvr buffers to see if there were any tags detected during the power outage of 3/30 that wasn't recorded on an interrogation file. I found one tag. Since there was no time stamp on the buffer, I created a recapture file (CSM12090.001) for the tag and submitted it to PTAGIS. 04/03/2012 08:10 Alan File ROZ12094.B1 was given a closing timestamp and submitted to fill the gap in data caused by the power outage on 3-30-2012. No further data exist on either PC to fill this gap. File RPJ12093.C1 was modified to remove pipe ("|") characters generated during a request for serial commands. The file was fine, file validation made the rejection based on the pipes. The file was then submitted to PTAGIS. No further problems to report. 03/30/2012 12:48 Brett There was a power outage at Rapid River hatchery caused by a downed line from 04:15 am PST until about 12:00 pm PST (approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes). I will retrieve any missing data files that I can from the data computers on my next O&M trip. 03/30/2012 08:43 Don_Warf Idaho Power confirmed that there is a line down outside of Riggins. They will provide another update at 12:10 mountain time. The outage started around 6:15 MT. 03/29/2012 08:35 scottl RPJ transceivers and antennas was installed and activated on 2/7/2012 at 11:46 am PST. 03/28/2012 08:03 Brett O&M visit on 3/26. I tested all transceivers with test tags. I archived data on the secondary PC and synced the PC clocks. Everything was working well. 03/20/2012 06:18 Brett Site visit on 3/19/12. Everything was looking pretty good. Xcvr 04 was slightly de-tuned and I re-tuned it. Tested all 8 xcvrs and archived data files in backup computer. 03/12/2012 15:17 Brett Site visit on 3/12/12. I checked out the transceivers and computers before today's scheduled release. Everything looks good. The screens were to be pulled today. As of the time I left the site at about 12:00 PST, the screens had not yet been removed. I was told by a hatchery employee that they were going to be pulled sometime this afternoon. 02/23/2012 07:52 Alan Data collection was interrupted 2-20-2012 on both PCs. Data were recovered from a TMP file on PC1. File RPJ12051.D1 was appended to include a closing timestamp and submitted to PTAGIS. No further data exist on either PC to fill the remaining ~2hr gap. 02/21/2012 10:50 Brett Per Ralph Steiner, hatchery manager - there was a power outage at the hatchery on 2/20/12 from a little after 10:00 PST until about 13:17 PST. 02/17/2012 11:20 Brett O&M trip on 2/16/12. I installed a Sonic firewall for the data computers and replaced the UPS batteries in the transceiver enclosures. 02/13/2012 11:58 Brett Volitional Release scheduled to begin on 3/12/12. 02/08/2012 07:10 Brett RPJ was installed and activated on 2/7/12 at 11:46 am PST. 01/23/2012 12:32 Brett Estimated installation date is February 7, 2012. IDFG is planning to begin tagging fish at Rapid River hatchery on February 13. 01/03/2012 08:24 Scott_Li Per Ralph Seiner, project Bio. PIT tagging should start on the 2nd week of February. Need to schedule Biomark for antenna installation accordingly. 01/01/2012 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for RPJ #### End of Event Log for RPJ ###
