The in-stream detection system consists of single array located in the lower South Fork Clearwater River. The array (SC1) is located at river km 0.9. (N 46.13685 W 115.98091) and consists of six 20 foot Biomark flat panel antennas that spans all but 18 ft. of the river at base flow. SC1 is operated by the Integrated Status and Effectiveness Project (ISEMP) cooperators Nez Perce Tribe and Quantitative Consultants, Inc. and was installed for continuous monitoring on August 19, 2011. The array includes ISEMP standard site monitoring equipment including: air and water temperature probes, and a water pressure transducer to monitor stream level. Electrical power is provided by a direct line from the local Kooskia, Idaho grid and remote communication provided by a cellular modem. The cellular modem communication system allows two-way data transfer. Diagnostic report send (DRS), PIT tag observations, and site environmental conditions are uploaded automatically every two hours from the site to the ISEMP PIT ARRAY server in Boise, ID. Daily interrogation files are sent automatically to PTAGIS following PTAGIS file standards. 10/07/2011 09:38 Nicole Initial event log entry for new site SC1.
