Antenna looked good water hasn’t risen as much as expected. 4/19/2012 - Changed batteries and downloaded CF card. File looked good. Old batteries had a voltage of 6.09 and the fresh batteries had a voltage of 6.49. Downloaded the HOBO file. 4/12/2012 - Downloaded CF card and checked batteries. File looked good. Batteries had a voltage of 6.27. Put a case on the HOBO and downloaded it. HOBO was moved 20ft. downstream so that it can be accessible during high flows. 4/6/2012 - Changed CF card and batteries. File looked good. Tag removal was successful. Time was correct on Acumen 3/30/2012 - Replaced Acumen. File looked good from past day, but replaced anyways. Set new file to SANXXXXX.SR1 and set time and date stamp. 3/29/2012 - Removed bare tag from close to antenna. Found another tag in antenna but were unable to recover. Removed sandbag form antenna. File wasn't good. The Acumen stopped recording during the past week. 3/29/2012 - Changed CF card and checked batteries. The batteries had a voltage of 6.21. The stop recording button on the Acumen didn't work. Reset the power and the record button worked again. 3/22/2012 - Changed CF card and batteries. The old batteries had a voltage of 5.94 and the new batteries had a voltage of 6.50. 3/15/2012 - Changed CF card and checked batteries. Voltage measured at 6.16. CF card was ok, last week must have been caused by a corrupted card. 3/8/2012 - Changed CF card and batteries. The old batteries had a voltage of 6.01, and the new batteries had a voltage of 6.67. There was no ice remaining at the upper end of the site. The CF card was not working. It caused the computer to stop responding. Several computers and card readers were tried with no success. 3/1/2012 08:35- 3/8/2012 12:12 data lost due to damaged CF card 3/1/2012 - Changed CF card and checked batteries. Voltage measured at 6.14. Little ice remaining. 2/23/2012 - Changed CF Card. Batteries measured 6.05V. Changed Batteries. The new batteries measured 6.54 V. Upper Antenna free of ice. Photographs were taken. 2/16/2012 - Changed CF Card. Batteries measured at 6.18V. The upper part of the site had melted. 2/9/2012 - Changed CF card. Batteries measured at 6.0V. Changed batteries. Fresh Batteries voltage measured 6.36V 2/2/2012 - Changed CF card. Batteries measured at 6.14V. 1/27/2012 - Allflex was receiving power all connections looked good. I opened the case to examine the panel reader and found ice inside of it. There had been moisture entering it. Dug out the old antenna and installed a replacement from WDFW. Tested timer tag at 1 minute intervals successfully. Changed timer tag to 31 minutes. Returned after 2 hours and read CF card. File looked good. New antenna working. 1/22/2012 23:22- 1/27/2012 data lost due to broken Allflex reader; ice inside casing 1/26/2012 File not good. At 14:21:13 on 1/20 the file began to read *E01, various allflex program code, nonsense, and squares. The reader began to operate in decimal for a few lines of data and then stopped working on 22nd at 22:22. I tried connecting to the allflex to reset settings and couldn't communicate with it. The antenna wasn't reading tags. Allflex possibly broken 1/19/2012 - The Acumen had reset itself to 00/00/0000 at 00:00:00. There was no data on card before time was reset. The acumen broke during an attempted lithium battery swap at 14:06 a new acumen was installed at 14:45. Set up acumen to laptop time and date. Set file name and time stamp. Fired test tag to check file. 1/12/2012 13:04- 1/18/2012 data loss due to broken Acumen 1/12/2012 - Changed CF card and checked batteries. The voltage was measured at 5.5V. The batteries were exchanged and the voltage of the fresh batteries was measured 6.43. The allflex settings were checked after the battery exchange. They had not reverted to default settings. The file looked good. 1/6/2012 - Changed CF card. Test tag read every 31 minutes. Time in Acumen needs to be adjusted to correct time (+ 12hrs). It wasn't in 24 hour format. Changed time from 01:37 to 13:37 (+12hrs) 1/5/2012 - Timer tag wasn't working. Tag was moved to a different configuration. Tag worked at 1 minute intervals. The allflex settings had reverted to default. The allflex settings were changed to "send duplicates" and to send the tags in decimal format. The power was disconnected at 30 second, 1 minute, and over 1 minute intervals. The allflex didn't revert to default; therefore it may not be a power supply issue. All of the connections were checked to the Acumen and batteries. Test tag read and recorded successfully at 1 minute intervals. Test tag was set to 1/4 second reveal with a 31 minute interval. The HOBO was deployed 1/3/2012 - Changed CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 5.80. Recovered the Hobo. File on CF card was back to decimal format. It appears that the allflex has reset itself. 10/30/2012 13:28 TARA 12/22/2011 - Fired test tag and read the CF card. The allflex was reading several entries in hex then several lines in decimal. Scanned a full duplex tag and it recorded the same way. Replaced CF card and turned on timer tag. 12/16/2011 - Acumen reset itself to 01/2000, 00:00:0. Reset time and date to 01:11:00, 12/16/2011. Acumen was reading in decimal format. Went into allflex configuration and changed the setting to hexadecimal. Read test tags, but still recorded in decimal format. 12/8/2011 - Changed the CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 5.35. The batteries were exchanged. The voltage on the fresh batteries measured 6.41. Changed file name in the Acumen to SANXXXXX.SR1 and changed time stamp to MM/DD/YYYY, hh:mm:ss:SR1 12/1/2011 - Changed CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 5.8. The time and date in the Acumen were checked and both were correct. The toggle messages setting in the Acumen was turned on. 11/23/2011 - Changed CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 6.0. The CF card eject button was fixed. The plastic rod had slipped over the metal bracket. Once returned to their original position the ejector worked. 11/17/2011 - Changed CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 5.42. The batteries were exchanged. The voltage on the new batteries was 6.47. 11/10/2011 - Changed CF card and checked the batteries. The voltage measured 5.80. The CF card eject button on the Acumen is broken.
