Flows recently increased to 20 cfs according to USGS gauge at mouth of Sweetwater Creek, near Sweetwater, ID. March 7, 2010 - Operations normal. Flows have been consistently between 8 and 12 cfs according to the USGS gauge since the last entry in the event log. March 28, 2010 - Operations normal. Flows peaked around 50 cfs according to the USGS gauge, but are currently declining. April 12, 2010 - Operations normal. Flows have been below 20 cfs according to the USGS gauge. April 23, 2010 at 11:10 - DATA COLLECTION HAS STOPPED. High flows have caused debris to pile up on the antennas and to catch on the exciter cables. Flows have remained steady at around 30 cfs for several days according to the USGS gauge. The debris pile ups have jeopardized the instream equipment. We have unplugged the exciter cables and turned off the FS1001M MUX to limit damage to the equipment. Data collection will resume when flows decrease and we can safely operate instream equipment. June 1, 2010 at 16:07 - Flows have decreased to workable levels. We have plugged the antennas back in and data collection has begun again. Operations normal. July 1, 2010 - Operations normal. Flows have been declining since last event log entry. Currently flows have approached summer low flow levels and are at 10 cfs according to the USGS gauge. September 7, 2010 at 12:18 - DATA COLLECTION HAS STOPPED. We are having power issues with the MUX and data collection is sporadic. All detections detected at this site during the remainder of 2010 will be reported as passively-observed recapture events. 02/18/2010 11:03 Brian Facility operations and creek conditions have not changed since last site visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Assistant Professor Dept. of Fish & Wildlife Resources College of Natural Resources University of Idaho www.uidaho.edu/cifees phone: 208.885.5171 fax: 208.885.9080 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 01/01/2010 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for SWT #### End of Event Log for SWT ###
