EVENT LOG FOR SITE TAY The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 11/30/2010 09:45 Jody 9/18/2010 1:00 am PST - 10/5/2010 10:00am PST - TAY A0, the upstream array for TAY, had a Solar Power system failure and no tags were read. 11/12/2010 11:39 Dave Per Jody White, the six antennas in both the upstream and downstream arrays, which normally span the width of the stream, were relocated in August, 2010. The current configuration is as follows: A0 (upstream array) - tandem, 3 antennas upstream starting in the middle of the channel and going to river right, then 5 m downstream, 3 antennas starting in the middle of the channel and going to river right. B0 (downstream array) - tandem, 3 antennas upstream starting in the middle of the channel and going to river right, then 5 m downstream, 3 antennas starting in the middle of the channel and going to river right. The A0 and B0 arrays are still located ~200 meters apart, above and below the bridge, respectively. According to Jody, the antennas in each array will be returned to their previous locations (spanning the full width of Big Creek) next Spring. 11/10/2010 11:12 Jody 11/4/2010 TAYA0 had three power storage batteries replaced and environmental monitoring equipment was added to the site to complete the ISEMP standard configuration including air temperature probe, water temperature probe, and water depth transducer. TAYB0 had storage batteries replaced and/or added and environmental monitoring equipment was added to the site to complete the ISEMP standard configuration including air temperature probe, water temperature probe, and water depth transducer. 10/14/2010 TAYA0 and TAYB0 were adapted to the ISEMP standard equipment and configuration for PIT Arrays. Each site now has independent communica- tions and power supplies. Each site, TAYA0 and TAYB0, had equipment added that include: data storage using Campbell Scientific CR1000 datalogger, site communications using GS4000 satellite modems, and a voltage monitoring module to log power levels. Automatic data uploads are currently being sent to QCI Boise PIT Array Server every two hours (depending on satellite connectivity) to be uploaded to PTAGIS. 08/12/2010 13:33 Dave I replaced Steve and Bill with Chris and Gabriel to received automated alerts if we don't receive TAY data files at least once per day. Taylor Ranch will also receive these alerts. 03/24/2010 13:36 Gabriel Upstream (A0) site was down due to power failure from 21:00:14 on 1/22/10 until 14:33:06 on 3/17/10. Downstream (B0)site was down due to power failure from 07:01:19 on 1/28/2010 until 14:33:06 on 3/17/10 On 3/16/10 to 3/18/10- Upstream (A0) site batteries were replace. Equipment removed to reduce power consumption. Both sites are now connected to a single computer via fiber. Computer is uploading to PTAGIS over Taylor Ranch WiFi. Water level was low, exposing portions of all three upstream antennas. Downstream antennas completely submerged. 03/05/2010 11:54 Dave Interrogation activities at Taylor Ranch were suspended on January 28 due to power constraints. 01/20/2010 19:11 Bill_W. Power to TAY site was restored 1/20/10 11:43:38 do to solar inactivity and batteries discharged. Upstream and downstream sites were intermittent since 12/24/09. 01/01/2010 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for TAY #### End of Event Log for TAY ###
