Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 07/05/2005 13:40 Shannon_ TMJ remote interrogation was discontinued at 0800 on 6/30/05 for the season. We will be sampling and scanning 100% of the salmonids until 7/8/05. At that time, we will assess the number and composition of fish and decide whether to continue any sampling at this site. Shannon Jewett Assistant Project Leader Juvenile Salmonid Outmigration and Survival 80866 Hwy 395 N Hermiston, OR 97838 Phone: (541) 567-5318 Fax: (541) 567-0293 smjewett@oregonvos.net 07/01/2005 13:44 Dave TMJ shut down at 8:40AM on 6/30/05. I've updated obs_site_dates, and disabled site-checking in etc/sites. 07/01/2005 08:23 Darren_C We pulled the trap at West Extension Canal this morning. The bypass will be flushed overnight and the juvenile facility shutdown tomorrow. We are anticipating trap & haul from Three Mile next week thus we may still see a couple of PIT tag files. Otherwise, sampling is finished until next year. cheers Tara Darren R. Chase PSMFC Systems Engineer (509) 735-2773 ext.3 06/01/2005 09:42 Alan_Bro Forwarded from Shannon Jewett: I checked on the TMJ site and something went wrong with the computer so MiniMon was not operating. I got it back up and running but I will probably have to do another buffer download to cover the period form 5/23 9pm to about 3pm on 5/25. I will contact someone tommorrow to walk me through that again . I will be out at the trap tommorrow anyway. Thanks to all of you for keeping tabs on things. 05/04/2005 20:51 Don_Warf -----Original Message----- From: Tara White [mailto:twhite@oregonvos.net] Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2005 8:03 AM To: Don Warf Subject: Fw: Problems with remote data sites... Without the trap running there will not be any detections at TMJ during this period. The Minimon program was not shut down and files were created and sent to PTAGIS as normal. At that time the new file started (at 1000 am) was named TMJ05112.A1 and I did not notice this and therefore did not change the new file to .E1 so the original .A1, .B1, and .C1 were overwritten by the newly created files starting at 1000 am when I had to reboot the system. .D1 was the file in progress during the reboot so it is the original file created. Since the originial files created from 00:00 to 09:00 were overwritten there is a file gap of about 9 hours. Shannon, Tara White, and Josh Hanson will be notified if PTAGIS does not receive a TMJ interrogation file at least every six hours. 02/01/2005 12:27 Shannon_ The TMJ facility was watered up at about 0930 on February 1st 2005.
