    The PIT tag array antennas at Valley Creek (VC1) remain in their original
    configuration.  On February 3 through February 7, 2011 the transceiver
    malfunctioned and resulted in the loss of 95 hours of PIT tag observations
    and status data (DRS).  A failure in the battery switcher components
    resulted in the site being operational for a 4 hour time period every 4
    hours beginning on June 21 through July 7, 2011.  Over this time period
    185
    hours of PIT tag observations and DRS data was not collected.  An
    additional
    15 hours of down time occurred during maintenance on September 12 and
    September 22, 2011.
