EVENT LOG FOR SITE WFF The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 11/08/2007 17:19 Dave I updated the current site configurations for PRO, RRF, RZF, SUJ, and WFF to identify these as "main" sites. Effective with the IDL run at 6PM tonight, the obs_main table will be populated and updated with detections at these sites. 11/08/2007 15:38 Schroede A new computer running Windows XP was installed as the backup data collection computer at the Willamette Falls fishway adult detection site on November 7, 2007. Minimon 1.4.16 was. Time of day was synchronized between computers. Uploading process was tested. Small data upload gaps may exist during the time the primary computer was set up, but no tags were detected during that time. Additional maintenance at the site was troubles-shooting for remote access using PCAnywhere. IT address problem was solved and access was successfully tested from Corvallis on November 8, 2007. 05/18/2007 09:53 Schroede Investigation into upload problem at the WFF site revealed that the primary data collection computer had been shut down on Friday, May 11 shortly after 5 pm (PST); the cause is not known (power surge that overcame the backup, internal power failure, unauthorized user). All files from the backup computer were accidentally uploaded resulting in some duplication of mostly diagnostic information with previously uploaded files from the primary computer. Overlap extends from April 16, 2007 to May 11, 2007. Files from the backup computer were in 3-hour increments whereas files from the primary computer were in 1-hour increments. Two distinct tag detections occurred at the falls during this period. Maintenance at the site included setting file length of primary computer to 3 hours and synchronizing the clocks and files between the two computers. A second battery backup will be installed at the site. 04/21/2007 14:09 Schroede The apparent data gaps for April 18, 2007 was caused by overwriting previously uploaded files when a new primary data collection computer was installed at the site and the first data files on the new computer had the same extensions as previously uploaded files. However, there were no tag detections during the 11-hour 'data gap' period. 04/19/2007 10:04 Schroede A new computer running Windows XP was installed as the primary data collection computer at the Willamette Falls fishway adult detection site on April 18, 2007. Minimon 1.4.16 was installed on both the primary and backup computers. Time of day was synchronized between computers. Uploading process was tested. Small data upload gaps may exist during the time the primary computer was set up, but no tags were detected during that time. 01/01/2007 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for WFF #### End of Event Log for WFF ###
