EVENT LOG FOR SITE WW2 Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What -------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 07/20/2004 08:00 Jim - George reports that site generator would not start because oil level was too low. He filled oil on July 19th approximately 8:00 PM. Review of interrogation files from the site indicates that the computer was running and Minimon was open but the transceivers have not been sending data since July 11th at 4:52 AM. This probably occurred because the voltage of the batteries was kept high enough to power the 12v computer but not high enough to power the 24v transceivers. It appears that any fish that passed the antennas during this period between July 11th and July 19th were not detected. During the next site visit buffers will be checked to see if there are detections at the transceiver that were not sent to Minimon. - Plans are to replace solar batteries at site to reduce generator run time and to avoid future problems. Tentative schedule is to replace batteries this weekend (July 24 or July 25). 07/20/2004 00:02 Jim - George reports that site generator would not start because oil level was too low. It should be deposited in the top-level directory of the WW2 Events forum. 06/04/2004 17:14 Dave_Mar I removed Gayle Zydlewski from this site's alert email distribution list. 05/24/2004 14:18 Jim - On 5/21/04 replaced computer at the station with a computer running Windows XP operation system. This new computer has Minimon 1.4.4 running and the tranceivers with coil ID's A1 and A2 are now attached to com ports 11 and 12 respectively. 05/06/2004 08:43 Jim Site computer "locked up" for no apparent reason at approximately 12AM on 05/05/04 and was reset by George at approximately 6:30 PM on 05/05/04. No MiniMon files are available for the time the computer was locked up. On the next trip to site, buffers will be downloaded and checked to recover information on possible fish detections that were missed during this time. 04/13/2004 11:15 Dave As requested by USFWS, I have corrected various WW2 data files from 2003 containing erroneous coil ID values. This includes four files from Oct. 1 - Oct. 4, where the transceiver (coil) ID "A1" was incorrectly identified as "0A". I also updated 70 files from November 28 - December 9 where "A2" was incorrectly identified as "0A". These corrected files were resubmitted to the PTAGIS database on April 12 and 13, 2004. I also compiled the outstanding data files for 12/13/03 - 01/25/04 into a single data file, WW203347.ALL, and submitted this to the PTAGIS database on April 13, 2004. The original data files were archived to WW2-2003-data.zip, and stored to the WW2/2003 interrogation data directory on the PTAGIS file server. 02/18/2004 13:31 Jim Site had no power from approximately 5:00 PM on 2/10/04 to 6:12PM on 2/12/04. 01/26/2004 13:07 Jim Minimon computer at the station was removed for repair 1/22/04 at 2:00 PM and replaced 1/25/04 at 4:00 PM. 01/01/2004 12:03 Dave Initialized new event log for 2004. 2003 event log has been archived. ####End of Event Log for WW2###
