Data and file specifications are described in this section for both MRR and interrogation data. The data specification sections describe the data fields currently stored in the PTAGIS database for each type of data. These descriptions include:

•Field name

•Display name used in field software

•Definition

•Domain or expected value ranges

•Field requirements - whether a particular filed is mandatory or optional

 

The file specification sections include technical details about file structure and data value requirements which will primarily be useful to those who are planning to create and submit files without using the standard PTAGIS software, or to those who wish to use the raw data source files for any reason.
