Add Data From PTAGIS

After a Site Dataset has been created by either downloading from a transceiver or importing a file, you can add records that have already been loaded into PTAGIS. This allows you to take advantage of I5's ability to identify duplicate records and ensure that you only submit new records from the newly imported/downloaded transceiver buffer.

For example, if your site normally submits data automatically, but there was an outage for some reason, you can download the buffers from the device(s) at the site into I5, then import the records that were loaded into PTAGIS before and after the outage. I5 can then determine which records from the buffer have already been loaded in PTAGIS, allowing you to submit a patch file of only the observations that were missed during the outage.

To add previously submitted data into an existing Site Dataset:

If the Site Dataset is not open, click the  icon in the left navigation bar and select Manage Site Datasets.

Open the Site Dataset into which you want to download records from PTAGIS.

At the bottom of the Data Sources panel, click Add > From Submitted Data.

Specify the Date Range of records to download.

Check the box to Include Timer Tags, if preferred. If this is not checked, no timer tags will be downloaded.

Click the Download button to see a preview of the records that will be imported.

Click the Add Data Source button to add the records to the Site Dataset.
