CLC - Clear Creek near Kooskia NFH
Status: Active - OperationalGeneral Operational Period: Seasonally
Start Date: 2/11/2015 12:00 AM
Currently consists of two arrays installed approximately 50 meters apart in lower Clear Creek just downstream of Kooskia National Fish Hatchery. The upstream array consists of one 10-foot Biomark pass-over antenna and two 20-foot Biomark pass-over antennas 55 meters upstream from the hatchery pumping station near the mouth of Clear Creek. It was installed and operational on 2/27/205. The downstream array also consists of one 10-foot Biomark pass-over antenna and two 20-foot Biomark pass-over antennas. It was installed and operational on 7/29/2025. The system is powered by 2 sets of 2 12V batteries, powering a Biomark IS1001-MC controller. A solar array reliably charges the 12V batteries from February-November. Solar charging can be intermittent from November-February at this site. AC power is the eventual preferred power supply for this array, but is currently awaiting funding for installation. Data is downloaded manually from the MC controller and uploaded to PTAGIS through the I5 program. The site is currently operated by the Nez Perce Tribe Department of Fisheries Resource Management Research Office located in Orofino, ID. The site was originally installed and operated by US Fish and Wildlife Service from 2015 - 2018 as a single row of 5 antennas.

Operational History
Operational history describes the period the site was interrogating for PIT tags. The comments provide anecdotal information about the operation of the site during this period. Site operational periods are updated typically at the end of the calendar year.
Configuration
Configuration metadata includes details about the equipment used at the site to detect and record PIT tags. A new configuration sequence record is created when equipment is added or removed from the site and the period of time it was active. A configuration sequence without an End Date is currently active.
