CLR - Lower Cle Elum River
Status: Active - Operations UnspecifiedGeneral Operational Period: Year Round
Start Date:
The Cle Elum PIT array is located at the confluence in the Cle Elum River immediately upstream of the confluence of the Cle Elum and Yakima river. The site consists of two rows of five, 25'X3' HDPE flat plate antennas. Each antenna is hooked up to a IS1001 housed in a submersible enclosure. The IS1001s are daisy chained together and connected to a IS1001 MC located in a metal job box located ~45' from the closest antenna. The site is powered by 4 solar panels connected to a Outback charge controller which charges 4 large 308Ah 12V batteries located in the metal job box. The antennas, submersibles and solar system were constructed and installed by Yakama Nation and WDFW staff.
