Located with Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge. An instream detection site in Gibbons Creek upstream of Steigerwald Lake. Consists of two passthrough stream width antennas operating on two synced Biomark IS1001 transceivers. Power is provided by solar panels and a battery bank. Data is manually uploaded periodically. Primary purpose is to monitor movement of multiple lamprey species and life stages.
