Instream detection system consisting of a single array located in the Lolo Creek, a tributary to the Clearwater River. The array (LC1) is located at river km 522.224.087.021 (N 46.294434 W -115.976119) and consists of four 20 foot Biomark flat panel antennas that span the entire river at base flow. LC1 is operated by the Integrated Status and Effectiveness Project (ISEMP) cooperators Nez Perce Tribe and Quantitative Consultants, Inc. and was installed for continuous monitoring in November 2011. The array includes ISEMP standard site monitoring equipment including: air and water temperature probes, and a water pressure transducer to monitor stream level. Electrical power is provided by an AC battery switcher and remote communication provided by a land line phone modem.

Antenna B3 began losing current September, 2022 and continued to operate at nearly 2.0A and high noise.  Antenna B3 was replaced with a 20 ft. Biomark HDPE antenna August 1, 2023 with 4.3A and minimal noise.  LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through August 8, 2023.

Site was vandalized on 07/19/2022 when a thief stole a 12 V battery creating a 3 hour gaps in operation for approximately 24 hrs.  LC1 is running continually without disruption through 07/22/2022

LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through November 2, 2021.  

3/17/2021 3:27:00 PM General Lolo Creek (LC1) antenna B4 stopped functioning September 27, 2020 and was replaced with a Biomark HDPE antenna on March 17, 2021. LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through March 30, 2021.
10/29/2020 4:05:00 PM General Lolo Creek 1 (LC1) antenna A2 lost current on October 25, 2020. Antenna A2 was replaced with a 20 ft. PVC antenna on October 29, 2020. LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through November 2, 2020.
9/1/2020 4:02:00 PM General Lower Lolo Creek PIT array (LC1). Re-armored antennas with large substrate September 2, 2020. No other maintenance needed. LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through September 21, 2020.
6/8/2020 6:28:00 AM General Satellite SIM Card Swap and site maintenance. Enclosure gasket replaced.
10/8/2018 9:52:00 AM General Lolo Creek Array (LC1) site batteries were replaced with four new 12V 115AH Centennial AGM Batteries. LC1 is operating continuously without disruption through October 21, 2018,
10/24/2017 8:14:00 AM General Lolo Creek 1 (LC1) recorded data intermittently between 10/15/17 and 10/24/17 due to a faulty battery switcher relay/board. The battery switcher board was replaced on 10/24/17. LC1 has been running continuously without disruption through 10/30/17 since maintenance on 10/24/17.
10/10/2017 7:48:00 AM General Lolo Creek 1 (LC1) array experienced a power outage in late September, 2017 that effectively drained a set of batteries. PIT tag data was recorded intermittently between 9-25-17 and 10-10-17. New batteries were installed on 10-10-17 and continuous operation without disruption was restored.
11/16/2016 9:08:00 AM General Lolo Creek 1 array (LC1) is functioning and operational without disruption through 11/16/16.
9/21/2015 11:43:00 AM SiteUp Power was restored at LC1 and normal operations resumed on 9/21/15. LC1 has run continuously without disruption through 10/23/15.
8/16/2015 11:43:00 AM SiteDown Lolo Creek 1 (LC1) lost power on 8/16/15 due to a forest fire burning electrical grid infrastructure in the area.
9/23/2014 9:52:32 AM General Lolo Creek 1 (LC1) is functioning and operational without disruption.
