TC4 - Trout Creek at 43 Road BridgeStatus: Active - Non-Operational
General Operational Period: Year Round
Start Date: 9/15/2014 12:00 AM
An instream interrogation system consisting of two antenna arrays at rkm 11.0 of Trout Creek, a tributary of the Wind River, WA. The site is at the bridge where Forest Road 43 crosses Trout Creek. Each antenna array has three 20-foot antennas covering a total of 60 feet, which spans the wetted area of the stream at most flows. The transceiver is a FS1001M. Power is provided by solar panels charging a battery bank. Downloads are manual and typically done during weekly site visits, though that interval may be longer during winter due to snow.

Configuration metadata includes details about the equipment used at the site to detect and record PIT tags. A new configuration sequence record is created when equipment is added or removed from the site and the period of time it was active. A configuration sequence without an End Date is currently active.
Select a type to view the history of equipment installed at this site. A missing End Date implies the information about the equipment is current.

|5/6/2016 9:29:04 AM||General||On 5/5/2016 we replaced antennas 1 and 2 at TC4. Both had been damaged in flooding in fall 2015 and we have just been able to access the site with low enough water to replace. Antenna 4 is still out. Once we repair one of the antennas we just pulled out it can replace number 4. Ian|
|4/1/2016 2:55:53 PM||General||On 4/1/16 we reconnected the cable to antenna 6. Also replaced the cable to antenna 3, which had been causing noise and amperage trouble. Ian|
|3/4/2016 1:50:28 PM||General||On 2/14/2016, the cable to antenna 6 was disconnected by flow. As soon as low water allows we will plug back in. Ian|
