M5 Monitor Service Releases
This release fixes an issue that may occur on low-end machines and devices with unstable time sync causing data logging to stall when major clock adjustments occur, such as during the New Year rollover.
Fixed a bug that prevented a file with Day-of-Year 366 from being created. As of 4/2/2025, the Linux ARM packages have also been upgraded to version 2.2.8.

- SbyC will now assign the relevant action code to tags triggering the Default action
- Fixed issue with writing records outside the File Open and File Closed date range
- Fixed issue with restarting the service on Linux when there are a large number of pending data files for submission

- Fixed issue with the Sync Clock feature sending the wrong commands for the IS1001-MC. Update and save the Transceiver Configuration after both Control Panel and Monitor Service have been updated to 2.1.8 to make this correction work.
- Fixed crash when attempting to connect to password protected IS1001-MC. NOTE: password protecting transceivers is not a supported use-case for M5.
- Updated how API calls are made (now uses Ptagis.RestClient).
- Updated all dependency libraries.
- Improved themes to support systems set to dark mode.
- Updated installer to install .NET dependencies automatically.
- Digitally signed with PSMFC certificate (as of 11/6/2023).
- Added support for connecting to GPS unit and writing location coordinates to data file
- Added support for setting a custom starting sequence for the file number to allow for multiple computers at one site to generate unique file names
