Interrogation Site Metadata
CCA - Lower Charley Creek ISA
Status: Active - OperationalGeneral Operational Period: Year Round
Start Date: 8/7/2009 12:00 AM
From August 2009 to April 2010, site consisted of a single antenna powered by a FS2001-ISO. In August 2010, a second antenna powered by a second cheeseblock was installed. The data collected from August 2009 - August 2011 was originally reported as Passive Recaptures. In August 2011, the site was upgraded to use a FS2001M and it was officially registered as an interrogation site in PTAGIS. In September 2017, a third antenna was added to the site. In December 2017, the original passive recapture records were removed and the detection records from that time period were submitted as interrogation data. Site was destroyed by wildfire July 2021, but was reinstalled in December 2021 with a Biomark IS1001 Master Controller and three antennas.

Configuration
Configuration metadata includes details about the equipment used at the site to detect and record PIT tags. A new configuration sequence record is created when equipment is added or removed from the site and the period of time it was active. A configuration sequence without an End Date is currently active.

11/23/2022 11:42:00 AM | GMC |
Site visited to collect data from buffer memory and upon arrival the cable for antenna 01 had been disconnected from its ACN inside the housing box, likely from a cow walking through the area and getting caught on the cable. A longer replacement cable was installed and secured to hopefully avoid the same scenario in the future. Antenna 01 at CCA was unplugged/non-operational from 27 October, 2022 until approximately 11:00 am on 23 November when the replacement cable was installed and the antenna reconnected. Antenna 01 was tuned and tested prior to leaving the site. |
5/14/2022 9:00:00 AM | GMC |
Site visit for general maintenance check and to download internal buffer memory on 5/14/2022. Antenna 1 was disconnected from its node upon arrival at the site and appears to have been disconnected by debris and high flows at approximately 6 am on the morning of 5/8/2022. Antenna 1 was reconnected to its node and tuned. Site operating normally once again. |
12/20/2021 12:00:00 PM | SiteUp |
All new/replacement components for the CCA site have been installed and the site is back up and operating normally. All of the previous components at the site were lost to the Dry Gulch fire in early July of 2021. The site is configured as it was previously with three 6' antennas and the new job box located where the old one was. The transceiver has been upgraded from a Destron MUX style set up (previously) to a Biomark MTS with IS1001 ACN's/readers. All ACN's were tuned prior to leaving site. |
12/2/2021 12:00:00 PM | General |
Power has been restored to the site after subterranean powerline that runs between the charger/converter box and the job box has been replaced. The powerline was damaged during the Dry Gulch fire in early July. The site will remain down until the remaining replacement components for site are acquired and installed. |
7/7/2021 4:00:00 PM | SiteDown |
Site down due to damage sustained from the Dry Gulch fire. Site likely went down sometime during the afternoon of July 7. All site components sustained heavy fire damage and will need to be replaced to make site operable again. Any data recorded on the MUX internal buffer memory between June 15, 2021 and the point at which the site burned on July 7 has been lost. The site will be down until further notice.

5/15/2019 3:31:00 PM | General | The MUX at CCA (Charley Creek PIT Array) was placed in standby mode on 4/17/2019 during a download/maintenance visit and accidentally left in standby mode until a return visit on 5/15/2019. Therefore, there was no data collected at CCA from 4/17/2019 through 5/15/2019 at approximately 2:00 pm. The MUX is not set to scan and normal operations have resumed. |
1/1/2019 9:46:00 AM | General | CCA was fully operational for the entirety of 2018. No outages to report in 2018. |
9/12/2017 1:47:00 PM | General | Site visit for antenna replacement and general maintenance. Antenna 2 (downstream) was damaged during a Spring high flow event and has been replaced with another working antenna. Additionally, a third antenna was added to the site approximately 5 meters upstream of the 2 already in place. The updated site map has been submitted to Ptagis support. Site has resumed normal operations. |
4/2/2017 11:15:50 AM | SiteUp | Site up and functioning however antenna 4 is still not present and appears to have shifted slightly downstream and sustained some damage. Antenna 3 was tuned and tested and is functioning normally. Antenna 4 will be removed and replaced as conditions allow. |
3/19/2017 8:07:00 AM | SiteDown | Site visited for damage assessment from current high water/flood event occurring in the Asotin Creek Basin. Neither of the 2 antennas on site are present or communicating with the MUX. Further damage assessment will occur as conditions allow. |
2/15/2017 3:15:00 PM | General | Site visited for maintenance and buffer download. Site operating normally. |
6/23/2015 2:52:17 PM | General | Site down for maintenance from approximately 11:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. 6/23/2015 as the MUX from CCA was swapped with the MUX from AFC. The purpose for switching the MUX between sites was due the AFC MUX losing operational ability on 2 of it's 6 ports while the CCA MUX has 6 functioning ports with only 2 necessary for the CCA site. The new antenna sequence at CCA is 3, 4 (formerly 1, 2), the antennas have been tuned and the site is once again fully operational. |
4/2/2014 8:02:00 AM | General | Downloaded buffer. All antennas are in place and operations are normal. |
1/8/2014 8:29:00 AM | General | All antennas reading and site operating normally. |
11/7/2013 8:29:00 AM | General | All antennas reading and site operating normally. |
