Version 1.5.0 of P5 is now available to download and install or upgrade your existing installation. This release focuses on reducing delays during large tagging operations, improving system responsiveness, and providing users with better tools to identify and address data issues in real time.
Enhanced Data Entry Validation
P5 v1.5.0 introduces real-time support for existing Custom Validations. When enabled in a Profile, the Active Custom Validations run during data entry, alerting users to potential issues as they occur. Users can choose to correct the issue immediately or continue with data collection, maintaining data entry flexibility while improving data quality.
Faster Session Loading
Session performance has been optimized, significantly reducing load times for Tag Actions involving large Tag Lists.
New Session Unlock Capability
A new Unlock Sessions function has been added to address situations where a Session remains locked. Sessions are locked whenever they are opened in data entry, record management, or other record-updating tools, and may remain locked if a user logs off before closing them. While Sessions are automatically unlocked when the original user logs back in and starts P5, this new capability allows another user to manually unlock a Session when needed, helping prevent workflow interruptions. The Session Unlock feature can be found in the Utilities section of P5.
Bug Fixes and Reliability Improvements
This release also includes several fixes to improve overall system stability and usability, including issues affecting the display of Project Codes in Query Management and errors encountered when downloading Validation Codes over unstable network connections.
