- Updated digitizer board data entry to filter out spurious pen clicks generated by CalComp DrawingBoard VI, which could result in erroneous Length values. See related news item for more information.
- Updated the Column Layout tool in Record Management to allow restoring the default column layout to all Sessions within P5.
- Updated the Validation procedure to check for duplicate values within a Session in the following fields:
- Genetic ID
- Scale ID
- Acoustic Tag
- Radio Tag
- Second PIT Tag
- Added native Bluetooth support for input devices.
- Fixed a bug related to importing P4 configuration files.

- Fixed a crash that occurred when exiting a data‑collection Session while the computer had no internet access.

- Revamped Session Explorer. NOTE: Drag-and-drop is no longer supported for moving Sessions or Folders in P5. Sessions or folders can be moved from an option in the right-click menu or from the Move button in the tool bar in Session Management.
