Operational History

Operational history describes the period the site was interrogating for PIT tags. The comments provide anecdotal information about the operation of the site during this period. Site operational periods are updated typically at the end of the calendar year.

Year Start Date End Date Comments
2002 1/1/2002 12:00 AM 12/3/2002 9:00 AM The BON Washington shore ladder (and hence the Adult Fish Facility) was dewatered between 2/7-2/28/02. Consistent sampling (approximately six hr/day) occurred essentially daily between 4/1-10/16/02. The facility operated less frequently prior and subsequent to that date range. The AFF (and Washington shore ladder) de-watered for maintenance on 12/3/02. Subsequently, the BWL and B2A sites were combined into the new BO3 interrogation site; this is the last year of data for the B2A site.
2001 1/1/2001 12:00 AM 1/1/2002 12:00 AM Regular sampling (4-8 hr/day, everyday) occurred between 4/3 and 10/17. Scattered sampling occurred outside this date range. Need dates of winter maintenance dewatering.
2000 4/4/2000 12:00 AM 10/23/2000 12:00 PM First year of ISO detection (four of ten coils). The sampling effort at B2A was greater than in previous years - approx. six hours almost every day in the reported range. Scattered sampling occurred before April 4 and after Oct 23.
1999 4/7/1999 12:00 AM 11/8/1999 12:00 PM Subsampled an average of ~6 hours per day, ~10 days per month.
1998 1/1/1998 12:00 AM 1/1/1999 12:00 AM Actual dates of facility operation are unknown.
