Event Log Summary

Event Date Event Type Comments
4/3/2024 8:46:00 AM General

The site was experiencing high noise on all antennas from an unknown source. A ground rod was added to the onshore equipment with a  copper wire to ground the TEG.  Noise levels on all antennas have dropped significantly.  KRS is operating continuously through April, 9 2024.

12/5/2023 12:00:00 AM General

Satellite Antenna was moved up hill for better reception.  Node 01 was replaced due to inconsistent reader amperage.  A new pressure transducer / water temperature probe was installed on the downstream side of antenna AA.  KRS is operating continuously without disruption through December 8, 2023.

7/12/2023 2:00:00 PM SiteUp

On shore components were successfully moved to a new location and site restarted thus collecting data again.  KRS is operating continuously operating without disruption through July 27, 2023.

7/10/2023 3:00:00 PM General

Electronics enclosure was moved away from the river, across the road approximately 300 feet. Antenna cabling was re-routed through the road culvert. The propane tank was replaced with a larger tank.

Nothing was changed in-stream at this time.

7/10/2023 12:00:00 AM SiteDown

Site was non-functional July 10, 2023 through July 12, 2023 mid-day to move onshore components to a new location.

8/4/2020 8:10:00 AM General Site updated: Added 5 antennas upstream to current array, updated MUX to IS1001MC. Array is two pass antennas 1-5 are HDPE pipe antennas, antennas 6-10 are new antennas located in original fiberglass channels.
9/11/2018 9:22:00 AM General KRS antenna cable for A3 became corroded causing high noise on antenna A3. The antenna cable was replaced on 9/11/18. Noise levels returned to normal on antenna A3 with the new antenna cable . KRS has run continuously without disruption through 9/25/18.
11/30/2017 12:36:02 PM General KRS array didn't need maintenance in 2017 and has run continuously without disruption through November 30, 2017.
