The initial configuration for 2003 includes four interrogation coils in the submerged orifices of two adjacent weirs in the left (East) ladder, a single coil (07) in one weir orifice in the middle ladder, and another single coil (09) in the right (West) ladder. Two more coils are suspended in air in the middle and right ladders, and will be used to monitor ambient noise. The middle ladder was dewatered for maintenance between Aug. 25 and Sept. 4, 2003. The RIA computer platform was disabled between Nov. 19 and Dec. 10 so the equipment could be relocated. The transceivers remained operational, so that any PIT tag data could be offloaded at a later date. The middle ladder was dewatered between December 8, 2003 and March 4, 2004 for annual maintenance.

At this time, the right fishway is watered up and the middle fishway is down.

2/6/2023 2:00:00 PM General

The right fishway was watered up on 2/6/23 at 14:00.

At this time the middle fishway is still down and the left fishway is watered up.

12/6/2022 8:00:00 AM General

The right fishway was de-watered until further notice. The middle and left fishways remain watered up.

2/23/2022 9:23:00 AM General

I swapped out the four 115A/hr batteries running readers 31 to 38 on the right bank fishway.

12/6/2021 3:00:00 PM General

I changed the right fishway Master Controller ID from 01 to 40 to differentiate it from transceiver 01 on the left fishway.

8/17/2021 12:00:00 AM General

Power was lost to readers 2A thru 2D on 8/11 around 9:00 am PST. It's possible the circuit breaker was popped or turned off by contractors working in the vicinity of the readers. The batteries on the battery switcher were  drained and needed to be replaced.

The batteries were replaced and the system power was restored on 8/17 around 11:30 am PST.

the four readers were down approximately 6 days and 2.5 hours.

Readers 31 thru 38 and full-flow antennas 0A and 0B on the same fishway were fully operational during this time.

3/2/2021 12:00:00 PM General I replaced the lithium batteries, checked tune and checked communications on readers 01 through 08.
2/25/2021 8:00:00 AM General The left bank fishway was watered up on 2/25 at 8:00 am.
1/6/2021 10:00:00 AM General The middle fishway was dewatered on 1/6/21 at approximately 10:00 PST. Currently the right and middle fishways are dewatered and the left fishway is in operation.

12/15/2020 1:17:32 PM General I manually submitted 54 data files from throughout the year that had failed to upload.
2/11/2020 12:00:00 PM General Fiber was run from right bank readers 2A to 2D to data computers.
1/30/2020 1:54:00 PM General Readers 2A thru 2D were upgraded from FS1001A readers to IS1001 readers. The capacitor packs in the antennas were replaced for the new readers.
1/28/2020 10:00:00 AM General the middle fishway was dewatered on 1/28 at 10:00 AM
7/9/2019 4:00:00 PM General We modified the PIT tag system on the lower part of the right fishway. The Master Controller was removed and the four upper weir IS1001s were synced together and the four lower weir IS1001s were synced together. Now all antennas are running continuously. This mod was done to improve detection efficiency especially on the overflow antennas.
3/20/2019 7:08:00 AM General Antennas 31-38 were powered up on 3/20 at approximately 8:00 am.
1/28/2019 8:57:00 AM General The left bank fishway was watered up at 12:26 on 1/26. The middle fishway was de-watered on 1/28 at 11:00.
12/4/2018 8:04:18 AM General The right bank fishway was dewatered on 12/3 at 11:30 PST.
8/13/2018 8:00:00 AM General I replaced the data PCs with new PCs. One new PC had communication problems with the readers so I uninstalled it and brought it back to my shop for testing. I re-installed one old PC as a back up.
