M5 interrogation software was installed on the data PCs. Checked comms to all transceivers. M5 was configured to upload a file every hour.

Antivirus and Firewall were updated.

1/1/2023 12:00:00 AM SiteUp Site Active
5/17/2022 8:22:00 AM General

Primary data computer locked up on 5/12 and no data was uploaded until 5/17 when I traveled to the site and restarted the computer. The data gap was filled in with files from the secondary computer and no data was lost.

8/16/2021 12:00:00 AM GMC

Antenna A3 on the OLAFT completely lost tune. I drove to the site and re-tuned the antenna. I could find no issues that caused the antenna to lose tune. However, the noise levels of the antenna are now in the 30-40% range. The other two antennas in the same shield are below 5%. Despite the higher noise levels, the antenna is detecting its VTT and read test tags that I put in its field. Will continue to monitor.

1/27/2021 8:00:00 AM General Re-installed a new data computer that had issues with the rocketport card.
2/4/2020 7:52:46 AM General 2019 Summary There was a data gap from 2/26 at 9:00 am to 3/5 at 9:34 due to a power outage at the trailer housing the data computers. Buffers of the readers on the right ladder were downloaded and they contained only test tags. The left ladder was dewatered during this time. Also OLAFT was not in operation. All tag data for 2019 is present and correct.
6/18/2019 2:40:00 PM General O&M visit. I checked the diagnostics of all transceivers, I tuned the antennas on the OLAFT mux. Re-booted the data PCs.
3/5/2019 11:00:00 AM General Power was lost to the data computers from 9:00 am on 2/26 to 9:34 on 3/5. I downloaded reader buffers to check for missing detected tags and there were none other than test tags. After restoring power to the computers, I renewed the firewall and antivirus subscription for each computer for one year. The left ladder was dewatered during this power outage.
12/5/2018 2:00:00 PM General Transceiver 01 through 08 firmware was updated to version 2.1.7
5/10/2018 1:01:10 PM General I reset the clocks on the data computers
3/21/2018 7:49:00 AM General O&M visit on 3/21. Checked all reader diagnostics for tune and reading efficiency. Tuned and tested the OLAFT mux.
10/26/2017 1:09:45 PM General O&M visit on 10/24. Checked diagnostics on all readers. Re-booted data computers and archived Minimon data files.
7/11/2017 12:26:00 PM General Turned off dyanamic tune and manually tuned antennas. When dynamic tune is turned on, antennas 02 and 03 go wildly out of tune for some reason. Will continue to monitor.
7/5/2017 7:54:10 AM General Antenna 03 on the OLAFT mux went out of tune. I was able to force the tune back to its original setting. Not sure what caused the antenna to go out of tune.
12/1/2016 8:25:04 AM General Fiber optic cables on readers 02 and 04 were somehow damaged in mid-November and communications were lost. On 11/30, an electronics tech with GCPUD repaired the cables and I tested communications on all readers and confirmed that everything is communicating properly. I manually downloaded buffers on readers 02 and 04 to check for detected tags that were not uploaded to PTAGIS.
4/8/2016 2:00:00 PM General Transceiver 01 was detuned and had a low capacitance alarm. I added caps and retuned.
2/3/2016 3:46:49 PM General The right ladder was watered up on 2/3/16.
1/18/2016 2:00:00 PM General Failed antenna 05 was replaced on 1/18.
1/18/2016 2:00:00 PM General FS1001A transceivers 01 through 08 were replaced with FS2020 transceivers.
1/18/2016 8:00:00 AM General Failed antenna 05 was replaced on 1/18.
11/17/2015 9:00:00 AM General The right fishway was dewatered on 11/17. No date set on when it will be watered back up. The left bank fishway is scheduled to be dewatered in February.
2/18/2015 3:37:46 PM General PRA has been unable to upload files since 12:00 pm on 2/17 because of work being done on the network at the dam. Grant PUD personnel are working on it and it should be resolved by 2/19.
1/29/2015 10:16:14 AM General Site visit on 1/26. Re-booted the locked up primary computer. Re-tuned and tested transceivers 05 through 08.
1/6/2015 9:13:41 AM General The right ladder was de-watered on 12/1/14 and watered back up on 1/5/15. I re-activated transceivers 05 through 08 at 09:15 PST on 1/6. The left ladder was de-watered on 1/5/15. I de-activated transceivers 01 through 04 at 09:15 on 1/6.
9/5/2014 8:00:11 AM General The network that the PRA data computers are connected to is down since 9/2. Grant PUD personnel are tracking down the issue. O&M visit on 9/3. Tuned and tested transceivers and worked with Grant computer help desk to try to find network problem - still unresolved as of 9/4.
