This site monitors volitional releases from Jack Creak acclimation pond which is part of the Cle Elum Supplementation and Research Facility. It operates seasonally from when fish are delivered to the pond until after all fish have been forced out at the end of the volitional release period.

2011 2/17/2011 12:00 AM 4/7/2011 12:00 AM Fish were ponded into the Jack Creek Acc. Ponds on Feb. 17-18, 2011. Volitional release began on 15mar11. Due to an extraordinary flood event, most fish were evacuated from the facility on 31mar11. Many of these fish were released directly into the Teanaway River without passing through the exit channels containing the PIT tag detectors. All remaining fish were pushed from the ponds, through the exit channels on 07Apr11.
2010 2/16/2010 12:00 AM 5/22/2010 6:00 PM Fish were delivered to the acclimation ponds on or before Feb. 16, 2010. The screens were pulled on March 15 to allow volitional egress. All remaining fish were pushed out on May 11. The facility generators were powered down on May 22 around 18:00 PDT.
2009 2/19/2009 12:00 AM 5/18/2009 12:00 AM Fish were ponded on Feb. 19. The volitional release apparently began on Mar. 20. All remaining fish were forced from the ponds on May 15.
2008 3/10/2008 12:00 PM 5/15/2008 10:00 AM Fish were first ponded at the Jack Creek facility on March 10, 2008. The screens were removed on April 1, to allow volitional egress. Any remaining fish were forced from the raceways on May 14, into the channels above the PIT tag detectors. The channels were drained on May 15.
2007 3/1/2007 12:00 AM 6/1/2007 12:00 PM Fish were ponded into Jack Creek Acc. Facility on March 1 & 2, 2007. Volitional release began on March 15, 2007. All remaining fish were forced from the ponds on May 15. Data collection was interrupted for almost three days between May 18-21, and for almost five days between May 24-29. The facility was dewatered, and data collection terminated, on June 1.
2006 2/13/2006 12:00 AM 5/10/2006 12:00 AM Fish were first delivered to four of the Jack Creek Acclimation Ponds on February 13, 2006. Additional fish were delivered to two other ponds on March 6. Fish were allowed to volitionally exit the ponds beginning on March 15. Jack Creek fish were forced on April 28, 2006 because of intake plugging from high turbid water. The ponds were dewatered on May 10, 2006.
2005 1/26/2005 12:00 AM 4/28/2005 12:00 AM Fish were introduced into the Jack Creek acc ponds on or before January 26, 2005. Volitional release began on March 9. All remaining fish were pushed out on April 28.
2004 2/20/2004 9:00 AM 6/1/2004 12:00 AM Fish were introduced into the Jack Creek Acc. ponds on Feb. 20, per YN staff. Volitional release began on March 15, 2004. All remaining fish were pushed from the ponds on May 14, but water was left running to prevent stranding between the ponds and the river. The last detection occurred just after midnight on May 23. The channel was dry when the computer platform was decommissioned on June 1.
2003 2/11/2003 6:00 AM 5/16/2003 6:00 PM Fish were delivered to the ponds on Feb 11-13. The scheduled release is documented as beginning on March 14. Remaining fish were crowded from ponds on May 15. Last tags were detected in the exit channel on May 16.
2002 2/20/2002 9:00 AM 6/6/2002 12:00 PM Fish delivered 2/20; screens pulled 3/15; no idea when the ponds were emptied.
2001 3/13/2001 12:00 AM 5/30/2001 12:00 PM Screens pulled on 3/15/01; site dewatered by 5/30/01.

As per site personnel raceways were cleaned and water was removed from the facility. Site is Down for the season.

A GMC was performed today. No issues were discovered. The last 2 remaining raceways were pushed out of the facility. They will be cleaning raceways and work on shutting down the site next week.

The site will be pulling boards on 3-15. According to Charlie they may pull boards earlier if there is a "freshlet" in the river. We are making the site up for that reason.

All data collection PC's have been updated with the latest service packs for Windows10 LTSC.  M5 software was upgraded to 2.0.2.0

Site down for season. Disabled in Xymon and site notification controls.

The site generator was shut down. PSMFC went into the UPS UI and issued a shutdown on both UPS. UPS will need to be turned back on in the spring during GMCs.
